What is New India@75

In 2022, India celebrates the 75th anniversary of its independence

A campaign has been initiated by GOI across all sectors to establish a concept of New India,
with efficient, transparent and accountable governance.
The concept of New India is based on:
• First, development must become a mass movement,
• Second, development strategy should help achieve broad-based economic growth to ensure
balanced development across all regions and states and across sectors.
• Third the strategy when implemented will bridge the gap between public and private sector
   performance

NACO through State AIDS Control Society in every state has developed a plan for launch of 3
awareness campaigns to be implemented virtually in three phases in select Govt. Schools and
Colleges.
