Editorial
The Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for Disabled People organizes the 4th
edition of the International Athletics Meeting, from 21st to 28th April 2019 at the
Grand Stadium of Marrakech, Approved by the World Para Athletics.
The Previous editions have marked a great success and witnessed the
participation of delegations representing countries from three continents.

Président de la FRMSPH This international meeting is an opportunity for athletes to be qualified for both
2019 Dubai World Para Athletics Championships and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic
Games.
Regarding the main assets of Marrakech city (Tourism, Climate, hospitality, the
organizational know-how, Historical sites…), the athletes will be able to fulfill
their sporting excellence. Hence The organization of this international event in
Marrakech city tends to achieve the federation endeavors to inscribe it among
the major world sport meetings.
We look forward to making this sporting event a must-attend World Para-
Athletics event.

Countries participating in the
3rd Edition of the international Meeting
Three continents were present during the 3rd edition of the International Athletics Meeting, which
was held from 22nd to 29th April 2018, namely: AFRICA – ASIA – EUROPE, represented by 26
countries:
Angola - Democratic Republic of Congo – Republic of Ghana - Tunisia - Mali - Libya - Benin -
Cape Verde - Republic of the Congo - Gabon - Ivory Coast - Jordan - Kenya - Kuwait - Senegal -
Algeria - Czech Republic - Burundi - Guinea Bissau - Spain - Sao Tome - Guinea - Central African
Republic - Togo - Morocco - Greece.
Grand Stadium of Marrakech The Grand Stadium of Marrakech was inaugurated in January 2011. It contains a main stadium consisting of 9 lines, throwing cages and a jumping pit. Over 40,000 seats and accessible locker rooms. The annex stadium, on the other hand, consists of 6 lines made up of a classic tartan. The Stadium has had a successful organization of the last two editions of the International Athletics Meeting. The stadium remarkably affirmed the participation of many International clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, Real Madrid and a major sporting event such as the African Cup and the continental cup of Athletics. The Grand-Statdium being located in Marrakech offers athletes the opportunity to compete in an ideal climate and a temperature of around 23 degrees in April.
Marrakech: The pearl of the south
Listed as a world heritage by the UNESCO, Marrakech “the
pearl of the south Morocco” “The Red city”, is the most
beautiful city of Morocco.
The Atlas Mountains, with its grandiose landscapes, the City
has held the COP 22 with the participation of 197 countries in
the fall season of 2016. Recognizing many Historical World
Heritage sites, the city is a true touristic treasure. Place Jemaa EL Fna Les tombeaux Saadiens
Marrakech city has an average temperature of around 23
degrees in April, offering a pleasant climate of practice and
visit. The visitor would fall under its charm, from the medina
to the ramparts, the buildings are colored in ocher red which
attracts the attention of its visitors. It's even more wonderful in
