On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite your nation, as a member of the Fédération
Internationale de Ski (FIS), to participate in the FIS Freeski & Snowboard World Cups in:

REGISTRATION – ENTRIES:
Entries will only be accepted from National Ski & Snowboard Associations, affiliated to the FIS in accordance
with the FIS quotas and the rules for the World Cup. Entries must be submitted to the OC using the FIS
online registration system within the mentioned deadlines
Please make sure that all athletes have a valid FIS license.

Special Entries for City BA World Cups:
Provisional entries need to be submitted by 13th February 2019.
Nations have to send in entries according to the new quota calculation for Basic and Additional quotas.
Entries that are not done within the above deadlines will not be kept into consideration.
Competitors will be confirmed according to WC rule 4.3
The confirmation of participation from FIS and OC will be communicated on 15th February 2019.
By 1st March 2019 nations need to inform FIS/OC if any of the confirmed competitors will not be able to
attend in order to reallocate spot. All communications will resent to the email contact address indicated
during the registration on the FIS online entry system.
There will be a total of 60 competitors (40 men / 20 ladies).
In the final there will be 10 men and 6 ladies.

PARTICIPATION FEE
According to the World Cup Rules a mandatory Participation Fee of CHF 30 per official training,
qualification and competition day per competitor has to be paid to the organizing committee not
later than Tuesday March 12, 2019, the official first training day. If you can’t be there for this
deadline, please contact the OC by email (nbourque@gestev.com)
The Participation Fee will have to be paid by credit card at the Registration/Race Office
The fees per competitor (Freeski and Snowboard athletes) are CHF 120.00
ACCOMMODATION
** Please note that accommodations will be available at the FIS rate for the dates of the program only.
Arrival is not earlier than Sunday March 10 and departure not later than Monday March 18. Early arrivals
and late departure are subject to availability and are NOT available at FIS rate.
Teams must forward their team accommodation requests with the provisional entries (ladies/men/officials)
before the deadline mentioned on the previous page.
According to the FIS Rules the rates are CHF 80.00/day per team member (athletes and team officials) for
accommodation and half board and have to be paid directly at the hotel at your arrival. Each team member
will be held responsible for any damage incurred during the stay. Any kind of extras must be paid by the
teams or athletes themselves. “No Shows” become charged to the National Associations directly at
the hotel. If needed, please make all your changes through the online registration and send us a quick
email to make sure we have the updated information about your arriving schedule.
The official hotel for the Team Captains Meetings and FIS officials is HILTON QUEBEC.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
To accommodate all riders, coaches and officials in a correct way, we do need your Accommodation
Booking by March 4 2019, the latest. After the above mentioned deadline the FIS rate for hotel
accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Do not hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee if you have
any questions.TEAM CAPTAINS MEETINGS
The Team Captains meetings will be held at the Hilton Quebec. Please see schedule for meeting times.
ANTI-DOPING CONTROL
Anti-doping control testing may be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by FIS
BIBS
Athletes must wear the official bib during all official training, competition and award ceremonies. The training
and competition bibs will be distributed at the Team Captains meetings.
AWARDS CEREMONIES
The award ceremonies will be right after each race in the finish area. The competitors MUST wear bibs
during the official training, competition and awards ceremonies.
The Prize Money for the first 3 Winners will be sent by Bank Transfers.
The other places must collect their Prize Money at the Race Office. Make sure your athletes will have a
Photo ID on them to get their Prize Money.
LIABILITY
All athletes, officials and other representatives of National Associations will attend at their own risk. The
organizer declines any liability for damages or injuries of athletes, officials or any other persons. It will be
necessary to show your evidence of medical and insurance cover.

Early Departure fees
You must confirm with the front desk before 3h30pm if you plan to leave earlier than your original departure
date. Otherwise you will be charge the equivalent for one full night (+ taxes, per room).
NO SHOW fees
If you don’t arrive on the schedule date, you must inform the hotel or the race office before 3h00pm on
the day of your arrival. Otherwise you will be charge the equivalent for one full night (+ taxes, per room).
The Organising Committee is not responsible to pay for your NO SHOW fees.
