PRACTICAL INFORMATION SHEET

         Academy 2021: Specific regulations related to the COVID crisis 19.
We wanted to offer you the opportunity to have a musical summer despite the current crisis. We strictly follow
the French regulations on COVID 1. It is imperative that students and professors do the same. It is a shared
responsibility and a shared conscience.

We have adapted the entire organization of the summer academy, in order to respect the rules of social
distancing by avoiding student groups. We ask you to be careful to respect these rules.

   1. Health pass:

In accordance with recent announcements from the French government, and to offer our teachers, our team, and
students, the safest possible environment, it will be mandatory to present your health pass at the entrance to
the conservatory when you arrive , for all people over 17 years old. This Pass (in paper or digital format) will
certify either:
  - Complete vaccination and the time required after the final injection, ie 2 weeks after the 2nd injection for
double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca); 4 weeks after injection for vaccines with a single
injection (Johnson & Johnson from Janssen); 2 weeks after the injection for vaccines in people with a history of
Covid (1 single injection)
 - A negative PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours
 - A positive PCR or antigen test result attesting to recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 11 days and less than 6
months.

   2. General:

      Directions of circulation in the building have been determined, thanks to respect them.
      The rooms have been arranged, focusing exclusively on rooms with large areas.
      You must respect the rules of social distancing by maintaining a free space of 1m around you.
      The wearing of the mask is mandatory in the common areas. Please remember to have enough masks for
       your week, the academy will not provide you.
      Wearing the disposable glove is also recommended in the common areas. If you want to wear them, don’t
       forget to bring your equipment.
      Be sure to wash your hands regularly with soap and water. The sanitary check and supply of liquid soap
       dispensers and disposable hand dryers is supported by the academy. Hydro-alcoholic gel will also be made
       available at strategic points.

   3. Cleaning:

      Regular cleaning of common areas and points of contact is planned by the academy.
      Cleaning equipment will also be provide for instruments in shared workspaces.

These provisions do not prevent you from providing cleaning equipment. We insist on the need to be as invested
as we are in the good running of this event. To ensure the safety of everyone, do not hesitate to disinfect your
shared instrument before using it, and after your use.

The traceability of the cleaning will be carried out, so that everyone can know when the disinfection took place
last. Every time you clean the instrument, remember to note it on the cleaning panel.

   1. ACCOMODATION:
Arrival of the students accommodated on Sunday, directly at the residence, from 14h30. Please tell us your
estimated time of arrival beforehand (registration@aien.fr).

Upon arrival at the airport or train station, you will have to purchase a 1.5 euro tram ticket to the residence.
However, the return will be included in the unlimited bus pass that we will give you.

On arrival, you can go to the reception of the residence (Montebello or Alliance Française), where you will be given
the keys of your room, the badges of access to the residence, and 2 dining tickets to use on the Sunday evening of
your arrival, and on Sunday morning the day you leave.

The arrivals are finalized at the conservatory the next day, on Monday, from 8.30 am: verification of the
registration, and delivery of the Unlimited Bus Pass.

We remind you that bed and toilet linens are provided by the residence.

You can practice your instrument in your room from 10am to 8pm. We count on your respect for your neighbors.

The introduction and consumption of alcohol in residences is formally prohibited, under penalty of exclusion.

The departure on the Sunday of the end of the session must be done before 09:00. Keys and badges go directly to
the reception of the residence.

PS: The deposit for the accommodation is 75€. The credit card used when registering with a bank authorization will
be required in case you do not return the residence badge and the key to your room. Please note that
accommodation without deposit is not possible in our Academy. Cheques and cash are not accepted and no on-
site trading is possible.
The deposit for accommodation at the Alliance Française residence is € 500. On your arrival at this residence, a
bank imprint will be taken to provide this deposit if necessary.

   2. FOR ALL STUDENTS:
All students are welcomed on Monday from 8:30 am to 2 pm. It is an obligation to introduce you to our team in
the conservatory hall.

You will meet your teacher on Monday afternoon to organize the schedule of your master class. Your teacher’s
classroom is noted on the bulletin board in the conservatory hall. Classes officially start on Monday at 2pm.

IMPORTANT:

   -   In accordance with the AIEN General Terms and Conditions, all payments must be settled. If not, the
       student will be on a waiting list and will not be guaranteed access to the desired Master Class.
   -   Your photo must be on your student account. It is mandatory to enter the Conservatory. Identification
       will also be required.
   -    For minor students, please email us at registration@aien.fr a responsability discharge. This discharge
       will be requested at the entrance of the Conservatory.
   -   Rules of Procedure Conservatory, Cafeteria and Residences: we invite you to read the rules of procedure
       available at the entrance to the conservatory and you are obliged to respect them.

      STUDIOS: Every week, a new work studio number will be assigned to you on Monday upon registration at
       the Academy reception. You have access to the work studio from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm, starting Sunday
       afternoon (Monday morning for students of the first session). You share the studio with another student of
       your master class, according to the following schedules: one person in the morning from 08:30am to
       2:30pm, and another in the afternoon from 2:30pm to 8:30pm. To alternate in the week according to your
       preferences, always in agreement with your partner.

      LIBRARY: The library will be able to grant you loans of scores in exchange for an identity document from
       Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm, at a maximum of 3 documents and for a duration of only 24 hours.
       Computer use and photocopying prohibited.

      NICE CLASSIC LIVE: All students can, upon presentation of the dematerialised student card, have free access
       to the «Nice Classic Live» concerts throughout the period. Your entrance to the concert will always be after
       the public entrance. Your place will be determined according to the available places (by default, under the
       olive trees).

      AUDITIONS AND STUDENT CONCERTS: A concert will take place every Saturday from 6pm. You must
       register with your teacher to take part.

      OPTIONS: Different options are available on your master class session, do not hesitate to discover them on
       our website: Keyboard harmonization, sight reading, piano accompaniment, coaching for competitions,
       chamber music, professional video mockup. Do not hesitate to contact me at registration@aien.fr for more

   3. MEALS:
All meals are taken at the conservatory.

              For guests: Guests staying at the Alliance Française residence can choose their breakfast at their
               residence or conservatory (please tell us at registration@aien.fr).

Breakfast at the conservatory from 8 :15am to 9 :00am/ Dinner from 6h30pm to 8 :00pm.

              For all students:

Lunch from 11:30 to 1:30pm.

        PCR or COVID antigen test: You can perform these tests in most pharmacies or in the laboratory. You will
        find a pharmacy 5 minutes' walk from the conservatory (20 Avenue de Flirey), as well as a medical analysis
        laboratory (24 avenue de Flirey). If you need to get tested for your return, consider making an
        appointment.

Tram 2 (direction Port Lympia) change Jean Médecin station take Tram Line 1 (direction Henri Sappia) stop

Information: From the tram stop Valrose university to the residence

- By Bus N°37 at the stop Doyen Lépine (direction Résidence Universitaire Montebello) stop Résidence

- Feet (about 10min)

For access to Montebello:

Access to the footpath gate: press the grey button to the right down the few steps, but the badge is necessary at
the exit of the footpath, the same for the return to the residence. The badge is presented twice.

Access via the entrance gate: On exit, present the badge on the reader located on the left. At the entrance, present
the badge to the reader on the left side, between the large gate and the wall. Press the button to the left of the
door; never open the cremona.

Formal prohibition to block, to scale the door, the gates and the gates.

If there’s a problem, call the front desk. The access control is verifiable from the administrative posts.

Parking: the gate is strictly forbidden to motor vehicles between midnight and 6am. If returns are late, the vehicle
will park on the public car park of Valrose Avenue and the return to the residence will be from the gate by the
footpath.

3. Montebello Residence – Conservatory:

On foot via the shortcut (15min).

4. Aéroport-Résidence Alliance française

Tram 2 (direction Port Lympia). Train station stop (Gare thiers). Walk to the residence. (5minutes). Go down on
« jean Médecin », then take the road on the left « rue de Paris » (at the corner of undiz shop)

10 min walk. Go down on « jean Médecin », then take the road on the left « rue de Paris ». (at the corner of undiz
shop)

6. Résidence Alliance française - Conservatoire:

Join the «Désambrois» stop on Carabacel Boulevard. Take bus number 5 (direction Rimiez-Saint Georges), and get
off at the stop «Commandant Gérome». From there reach the conservatory by foot (4 minutes).

7. Airport – Conservatory:

Tram Line 2 (Direction Port Lympia). Durandy judgment. Take the Carabacel Boulevard (5 min walk) and take the
bus line 5 (Carabacel stop, direction Rimiez-Saint Georges). Get off at the stop «Commandant Gérome». And walk
to the conservatory.

Taxi: about 25 min

8. SNCF station - Conservatoire:

Tram Line 1 (direction Henri Sappia) stop Valrose University Bus N°16 at the stop Dean Lépine (direction Cimiez
