Where is the Launch Party happening?
The Green Line Launch Party is located in the parking lot
of the building that houses MAP For Nonprofits.
2314 University Ave W #28 St Paul, MN 55114.
Why a Launch Party?
The launch party provides an avenue for community stakeholders to
present their goods and services as well as allows the public to
explore this creative enterprise gemstone located just off the
Raymond Ave Station stop along the Green Line. The Creative
Enterprise Zone is working against gentrification by throwing this
pop-up party. By supporting artists and spreading communication
about this sector, we can help local economy thrive and work to
keep the eclectic nature of creative enterprise along the light rail.
Go to http://www.metrotransit.org/opening-day to learn more.
What is the Creative Enterprise Zone?
The Creative Enterprise Zone is “located mid-city between
Saint Paul and Minneapolis, has the goal to be a recognized center
of creativity and enterprise, a place where people make a living by
their creative pacities,” according to the organization’s website.
This site offers us an opportunity to showcase our community
stakeholders while capitalizing on the Green Line Launch. This
collaborative event utilizes the parking lot space to create more N
interest in this important sector.
