2 Background on the Club Real Madrid Club de Fútbol (Royal Madrid Football Club), commonly known as Real Madrid, is a professional football club based in Madrid, Spain. It was founded in 1902 as Madrid Football Club and has traditionally worn a white home kit since. The word Real is Spanish for royal and was bestowed to the club by King Alfonso XIII in 1920 together with the royal crown in the emblem. The club established itself as a major force in both Spanish and European football during the 1950s. Unlike most European football clubs, Real Madrid's members (socios) have owned and operated the club since its inception. The club is the richest football club in terms of annual revenue, generating €479.5million in 2011[4] and the second most valuable, worth €1.8billion. Real Madrid holds many long-standing rivalries, most notably El Clásico with FC Barcelona. The team has played its home matches in the 85,454-capacity Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid since 1947. It is one of three clubs to have never been relegated from the top flight of Spanish football, along with Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona. Domestically, Real Madrid has won a record 32 La Liga titles, 18 Copas del Rey, 9 Supercopas de España, 1 Copa Eva Duarte and 1 Copa de la Liga. Internationally it has won a record nine European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles and a joint record three Intercontinental Cups, as well as two UEFA Cups, and one UEFA Super Cup.
3 Real Madrid CF Training Facilities The Ciudad Real Madrid (Real Madrid City) is the name given to Real Madrid's training facilities located outside Madrid in Valdebebas near Barajas airport. The complex has been nicknamed, and is known to the players, trainers and club staff as ‘Valdebebas’, named after the district of the city where the complex is located. Inaugurated in 2005, the training centre consists of academy offices, equipment rooms, audio- visuals rooms, a strength and rehab centre, medical and training facilities. Training facilities include 13 fields, a mixture of both natural grass and synthetic turf. Ciudad Real Madrid also includes the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano where Real Madrid Castilla (Real Madrid reserve team) plays its home matches.
4 Spanish FA Training Facilities La Ciudad del Futbol of Las Rozas is a true stage of excellence located at the home of the Spanish Football Association prepared to host teams/groups at any level. The training facilities offer world class sporting facilities combined with high standard accommodation on-site. It is integrated in a very pleasant and safe environment ideal for young people and accompanying adults. The natural grass and last generation Astroturf pitches are used for the Spanish national football team training and was the home for Real Madrid CF for 4 years until their move to a new training facility. Similarly the indoor sports hall is used by the national teams in basketball and futsal at all levels. International standard field hockey and rugby facilities are located only 5min away from the hotel and can be used by visiting groups who are considering combined sports development tour.

8 Accommodation Spanish FA Private Residence (subject to availability) Accommodation for groups is provided at the Spanish National Training Centre in La Rozas on the outskirts of Madrid. The 4-star rated standard accommodation is a purpose built facility for professional athletes and allows ready access to all the training facilities for different sports. The facilities include 66 rooms (2-4 beds in each) extremely well maintained with all the necessary services for sports groups. Recreational facilities include; relaxing lounges, meeting rooms, games room, internet/email workstations and outdoor swimming pool. Sports menus have been developed with athletes in mind to ensure a nutritionally controlled and balanced menu for all guests. The Spanish FA Private Residence is the ideal place to stay for your once in a lifetime football development tour. The high standard en-suite rooms at the residence all have private facilities, air conditioning, TV, safe. Wifi is also available throughout the complex. Financial Security
For your financial protection flight packages are protected by ATOL 6053 offering 100% security in
the unlikely event of insolvency. All other packages by coach/ferry are financially protected by an
ABTA bond. Insurance premiums are not protected.

Please note that it is advisable to take out your group insurance at the time of booking your trip as
cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the policy issue date. This will therefore
provide cover should the group have to cancel their trip for an insured reason such as, illness or
serious accident, preventing the group or individuals from travelling.
You MUST have travel insurance cover that offers similar or a higher level of cover than
inspiresport insurance. Should you decline our insurance, you’ll need to sign an Insurance
Indemnity form. This form indemnifies us should your insurance have lower cover.

2. At the parents evening you can arrange to take payments on the night or give the pupils a
maximum of 7 days to bring in their deposit payment.
3. Once you have obtained the required numbers to confirm the tour we will send the invoice for
your first deposit along with an ‘Advanced Passenger Information’ form.
