INTRODUCTION

In 2017 we shook off the last traces of the economic turndown. The only
way was up! We saw a hiring spur unfold with organisations quickly
expanding their teams in order to keep up with the economic growth.
For Walters People, the year was equally fruitful. We vastly increased
the number of recruitment consultants and opened a new division in the
Rotterdam office, where we now also recruit for business support roles.
Our Banking & Financial Services division showed particularly rapid
growth in 2017.

Talented professionals have become scarce, and will be even more

Walters People Academy allows them to acquire new skills and grow as
professionals. We’re also hosting training sessions for students, in which
we prepare them for their first steps into the job market.

A milestone that we celebrated in 2017 was to be named a Great Place
To Work. This award is the result of our management’s hard work to
make Walters People a great environment for all our staff. Something
we are very proud of!

Our annual survey on job market expectations (page 4) shows that both
candidates and employers have great expectations for 2018. We are
equally confident and cannot wait to help you find the best new talent.
