Cowes Harbour Storage offers instant & easily accessible self-storage solutions for all
your secure storage needs in individual, steel partitioned rooms at Cowes Harbour Services
Boatyard, Kingston Road, Kingston Wharf, East Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.
The 48 self-storage units range in size from 18 to 90 sq. ft. & are suitable for storing
yachting equipment, household or business items, for long or short-term rental.
Cowes Harbour Storage is accessible by both road & river, with access from Kingston
Road & from the pontoons at Kingston Wharf on the River Medina. The self-storage facility
is just 3 minutes drive from the Red Funnel vehicle ferry terminal at East Cowes. There is
free dedicated “drop off” parking for unloading & loading in front of the storage facility.
Personalised customer access is available 7 days a week.

Cowes Harbour Services provides a wide
choice of annual mooring & berthing

swinging moorings conveniently situated
at the mouth of the River Medina, pontoon
or pile moorings at various locations on
the Medina Estuary, or, join the waiting list
for berths at Shepards Marina.
Patrol Officers carry out daily safety &
security checks 365 days of the year for
your peace of mind & are contactable on
VHF Ch69 to help with general mooring
enquiries. There is a harbour water
taxi service available 7 days-a-week
throughout the year. All prices include
Harbour Dues.

BOATYARD - SERVICES & FACILITIES
The Cowes Harbour Services Boatyard at Kingston Wharf in East Cowes, is one of the
largest yards on the River Medina with extensive facilities accommodating up to 150 boats
from the easily trailered to yachts & motor boats up to 40 tonnes. The Boatyard serves local
river & harbour users, & is also popular with mainland boaters.
We offer a full range of maintenance services & have a number of preferred sub-contractors
that can also be involved in the care of your boat. Alternatively, you are welcome to work
on your own vessel or contract independent companies, subject to site conditions.

BOATYARD - TARIFFS
The Cowes Harbour Services Boatyard offers all the flexibility you could want in a local
yard at excellent prices, with regular Package Offers (see page 5) to make life even easier!
You can pre-order all the chandlery items you require when you book your stay & remember to
ask us to give you a quote for any of the tasks you have in mind this year.
All tariffs apply from 1st January to 31st December 2021.
Boat Handling (For vessels up to a max. of 40 tonnes)
Hoist lift, scrub, block off ashore / load onto transport £25.61 per metre
Maximum wash off time 45 minutes; labour charged by the ½ hr thereafter.
Relaunch from block off / launch off transport £17.64 per metre
Lift & Hold (hoist lift, scrub, relaunch; max. 2 hrs in slings) £24.86 per metre

Shepards Marina is the Isle of Wight’s premier Dry Sailing Centre & specialises in
providing Dry Sailing Packages for day class yachts, RIBs, motorboats & trailered keelboats.
There is a marina basin for the exclusive use of Dry Sailing clients. Our crane has a launch
capacity of 6 tonnes & we offer a variety of flexible annual & seasonal Dry Sailing Packages

Our team specialises in the design, supply & positioning of complete mooring systems, as well as navigation & race mark buoy management. We also take care of pontoon maintenance, local towage, stores logistics, escort duties & transportation, & berth repair. Our working vessels Seaclear & Seamark are based at our Kingston Wharf site in East Cowes where we also have storage & workshop facilities for engineering, welding & painting. BUOY MANAGEMENT We have extensive experience in the servicing & scheduling of maintenance to all local harbour navigation marks & many of the Solent race marks. We can fulfil all your mark laying or retrieving needs, on a one-off or ongoing basis. SPECIAL PROJECTS Our experienced team, equipped with a Multi-Cat barge & small tug/escort vessel, backed up with other vessels including fast RIBs, is often called upon to deal with the jobs that no one else can, including towage, salvage & special access. charter & are regularly employed on a wide range of tasks throughout the year.
SEACLEAR
The main working vessel is our 16.6m Multi-Cat barge Seaclear:
Seaclear specialises in laying, servicing Main engine(s): 2 x Doosan L136TI Turbo Charged
& recovering moorings & buoyage.
The Multi-Cat is available for charter Deck crane: 30t/m ACB 3004BS HIAB capable of
to carry out marine contracts, including lifting 15t @ 1.85m to 2.2t @ 12.4m
bed levelling & marine salvage. With Service speed: 7.5kts
a 28t deck cargo capacity Seaclear
offers excellent transportation & logistic Winch: 1RAPP hydraulic 10 Tonne split drum
support capabilities.

SEAMARK
Our 10.7 metre steel workboat Seamark is available for hire
with two or more crew. Fitted with a deck winch, bollard &
no stern gunnels, Seamark is suited to towage work, boom
deployment & observation; she also serves as ferry escort
for events such as Cowes Week.
HARBOUR LAUNCHES
We have a variety of harbour launches available for
hire with a fully qualified coxswain.
Both our RIBs are ideal for fast escort, patrol,
observation, or filming operations. HM1 is a heavy
duty 9m aluminium jet RIB, featuring a 4.55m2 flush
deck with a track system, capable of towing & pushing
small vessels. HM2 is a 10m RIB with a 225hp inboard
diesel engine, ideal for towing small vessels.
Two 21ft ‘Duver’, cabin boats, are suitable for local
charter, carrying out surveys, patrol work or even
harbour tours.

The fuel berth supplies marine fuels, gas & lubricating oils to the commercial & leisure users in the Solent. Ultra Low Sulphur diesel fuel is free from any biodiesel. An automatic declaration facility is available. If a reasonable quantity of fuel (200+ litres) is required after the normal closing time you may request a delivery by calling the fuel berth in advance.
