COLLECTION OVERVIEW
For Spring 2018, minimalism blends with casual tailoring and contemporary functionalism. The collection
draws inspiration from the simple expression of traditional Japanese workwear and the technical needs
of modern city mobility. Outerwear is in focus, with a wide range of coats and jackets.
The workwear theme is showcased in several styles and finds its peak in an overshirt inspired by
the traditional Japanese Noragi jacket. With its casual fit and unstructured finish, it’s a relaxed
alternative to a light blazer. Details such as sturdy patch pockets, heavy zips and washed textures
are seen throughout the collection and add to a minimalistic workwear look. The clean simplicity
also shows in our casual tailoring, with relaxed yet smart pull-on trousers, in knitted structures, and
soft poplins worn with retro sporty polo shirts.
In contrast, the classic yet functional garments inspired by the needs of urban mobility bring
a contemporary spin to the collection. Both garments and accessories are adapted to work in
movement as well as in the office, such as the windbreaker cotton coat that you can button up in
front for full flexibility. The bag collection is designed with adjustable and removable straps, adapted
for a life in movement.
Colors are neutral: from soft workwear shades of blue and beige to timeless black and white.
Textures are a bit heavier with a washed and dry finish, like summer laundry left to dry in the wind
and sun. New for the season is ‘Deep Water’, a lustrous bright navy that’s preferably worn with
different shades of blue, or as a rich contrast to sandy beige.
