Overview:
Trekking to high al tude glacial Lakes in itself is quite adventurous and
manages to catch the interest of every hiker. Usually these high al tudes
lakes are difficult to reach and needs days of hiking and crossing difficult
terrains, before the sight of the lake can be cherished. But all these tough
complica ons can be kept at bay with the beau ful Bhrigu Lake Trek in
the upper Kullu Valley based in the eastern side of the famous Rohtang
pass in Himachal Pradesh. The special meadows stretch far and wide,
undula ng, almost like an endless carpet. Everywhere you see it is lush
green against the deepest blue sky. But what will take your breath away is
the incredible views. Si ng on the grassy knolls you are surrounded by
snow peaks that stretch to the horizon. The steep trail goes through virgin
forests and lush green meadows which open into the beau ful campsite
of Rola Khuli.

On your way, you will get views of the famous Hanuman Tibba and Seven
Sisters peaks. This one of a kind hiking trip promising loads of
entertainment for both beginners as well as experienced hikers. Located
at a whopping al tude of 14,000 the Bhrigu Lake Trek offers fascina ng
natural vistas and breath-taking views of snow-capped mountains, lush
meadows and verdant rich forests. According to the reports from the
Indian Meteorological Department, the weather in 2019 is the most
favourable for trekking in the Himalayas. So what are you wai ng for?

I nerary:
Day 1 - Arrive at Manali Basecamp
Arrive at Manali Base Camp on your own. Complete the registra on
process and the rest of the day is available to you for leisure. Acclima ze
yourself with the weather and you can go explore the local markets and
enjoy some delicious local cuisine. In the evening we quickly catch up for
an orienta on session regarding the trek route, things to carry and how
to pack your backpack. Overnight stay at our campsite.
Day 2 - Drive from Manali to Gulaba | Trek to Rohlikohli campsite
Distance covered: 6 kms | Time taken: 5 – 6 hours | Al tude: 12500 feet
Start your journey with a jeep ride from Manali for Gulaba. The jeep ride
normally takes 3 hours. This will be the start of your trekking adventure.
The route is a full ascend and you will pass two streams on the way to the
campsite (Chor Nallah and Kohli Nallah). Rohli Kohli is a beau ful
campsite and offers mesmerizing views of the Solang Valley. Rohli Kohli is
a scenic grazing ground used by local shepherds. Located at the base of
Bhrigu Lake, it makes for an ideal camping spot. Re re for the night with
a comfortable stay in tents under a blanket of stars.

Day 3 - Trek to Bhrigu Lake
Distance covered: 6 kms | Time taken: 4 – 5 hours | Al tude: 14000 feet
Start your day early in the morning and have some breakfast with
magnificent views from the campsite. Post breakfast we will begin
trekking towards the most awaited Bhrigu Lake. In June, the trail is
usually covered in snow. In July, as the snow melts on the lower reaches,
you see the trail slowly turning from green to brown and white. As you
reach the ridge, look for an oval glacial lake in the distance. We reach the
lake by a ernoon and we enjoy the lunch by the lakeside and relax for a
while. According to mythological stories, Rishi Bhrigu meditated here and
used to take a bath in the holy water. Post lunch we will start our descend
back to the Rohli Kohli campsite and relax for the rest of the day. Re re
for the night in your tents.
Day 4 - Trek back to Gulaba and Departure
Distance covered: 6 kms | Time taken: 4 – 5 hours | Al tude: 12500 feet
This is the last day of your wonderful trek. Bid goodbye to the scenic
beauty and the towering peaks and head back to Gulaba. The trek is a full
descend and surrounded by lush green meadows. A er reaching to
Gulaba, ride back to Manali in jeeps and this will be end of this
breathtaking trek and your journey with us.

 Backpack (40 to 60 litres)
 Daypack (20 litres) if you choose to hire a porter to carry your Backpack
 Trekking shoes and extra pairs of socks

 Hand Gloves and Cap
 Ponchos
 Sunscreen and toiletries
 Water bo les (2 litres minimum) (Note: It is mandatory to refill your
  bo les everyday as the water availability is completely dependent on
  clima c condi ons.)
 Torch with extra ba eries
 Empty ffin box to carry your packed lunch
 Snacks you wish to carry
 Electrol or Glucon-D and Personal medica ons if any
 Plas c bags for wet clothes
 Any government ID proof

Things Excluded:
 All transporta on to and fro base camp
 Any personal expenses
 Anything other than things included
 Porter charges for carrying your backpack
 Cost incurred due to any emergency

Note:
 Li ering is strictly prohibited. We request you to support us in
  preserving the environment
 Age limit for the trek is minimum 16 Years
 Make sure you carry the balance amount and the bike security deposit
  in cash as ATM's in Manali are not reliable.

Cancella on Policy:
If cancella on is done by the par cipant prior to 15 days of the Event, 50% of
