Upon arrival at London-Heathrow, meet your Tour Director and board your private motor-coach. Visit the Tower of London and see the cell of St.
Thomas More and other English Martyrs. Celebrate Mass (pending confirmation). Continue to the Globe Theatre. This evening, enjoy a welcome
dinner at the hotel with your fellow travelers. Overnight in London.

                                            DAY 3: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 • LONDON
This morning, visit St. Etheldreda’s Church, the oldest church in England and one of the only remaining buildings in London from the reign of
Edward I (d. 1307). It contains the relic of the incorrupt hand of St. Etheldreda (630-679). Celebrate Mass. Continue on to visit Poets Corner and the
tomb of St. Edward the Confessor in Westminster Abbey. Founded in 960 by St. Dunstan, Bishop of London, it was reconstructed by St. Edward the
Confessor in 1042, and only one week after its completion and consecration in 1095, he became the first of 17 monarchs to be buried within its
walls. Then visit Farm Street Church in Mayfair with literary connections to Edith Sitwell, Evelyn Waugh, and Sir Alec Guinness. After a private tour
of the Tyburn Convent, enjoy the evening at leisure in London.

                                              DAY 4: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 • LONDON
This morning, celebrate public Mass at Brompton Oratory. The remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy. Take a panoramic tour of the city
via motor coach and end the day with a visit to the Olde Cheshire Cheese, a quaint centuries old pub associated with many literary figures,
including Dr. Johnson, the Romantic Poets, Chesterton and Belloc. Evening on your own and overnight in London.

                             DAY 5: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 • CANTERBURY | CAMBRIDGE
After breakfast, check out of your London hotel and depart for Canterbury, where you will tour the city focused on the life of St. Thomas Becket.
Visit the Cathedral where St. Thomas Becket was murdered in 1170. Celebrate Mass. Continue on to visit the house across from St. Dunstan’s
Church where St. Thomas More’s eldest daughter, Meg, lived with her husband, William Roper. It is said that the family vault contains the head of
St. Thomas More. Continue to Cambridge for hotel check-in and dinner. Overnight in Cambridge.

                               DAY 6: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 • CAMBRIDGE | WALSINGHAM
After breakfast, visit the famous Oxburgh Hall and Gardens, a Catholic moated aristocratic manor house, with one of the best surviving priest-
holes and associations with Mary, Queen of Scots. Then, visit Castle Acre Priory Site and the Castle Ruins. In the afternoon, visit Walsingham,
England’s Nazareth, beginning at the Slipper Chapel to celebrate Mass. For centuries, thousands of pilgrims, including kings and queens, removed
their shoes before walking the Holy Mile to the shrine of Our Lady. It is said that the shrine was built following three visions granted by Our Lady to
a holy woman named Richeldis de Faverches in 1061, during which the exact dimensions of the house of Nazareth were given. When the builders
had difficulty with the construction, Favereches prayed through the night and the next day, the house was found to have been miraculously
constructed. Return to Cambridge for dinner on your own and overnight.

                        DAY 7: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 • STRATFORD-UPON-AVON | OXFORD
Early morning Mass celebration. After breakfast, board the motor-coach for the drive to Shakespeare’s home town, Stratford-upon-Avon. Visit
his birthplace on Henley Street, his grave at Holy Trinity Church. Continue to Oxford for hotel check-in. Dinner on your own and overnight in Oxford.

DAY 8: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 • HIGHCLERE CASTLE | OXFORD
After breakfast, depart for Highclere Castle, known famously from the BBC historical drama series, Downton Abbey. Then return to Oxford for
lunch on your own. Spend the remainder of the afternoon visiting sites related to St. John Henry Newman, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Oscar Wilde, and
Hilaire Belloc. Celebrate Mass in the Oxford Oratory. Finally, meet at the famous Eagle and Child pub for a walk or ride to the Perch – two pubs
related to the famous “Inklings,” Tolkien and Lewis. Along the way, see the ruins of Binsey Priory and Gostow Abbey. Dinner and overnight in Oxford.

Depart for the historic Arundel Castle, home to the Dukes of Norfolk, the longest-standing Catholic family in England. One of its most notable
residents, St. Philip Howard (13th Earl of Arundel), died in the Tower of London after being imprisoned by his cousin, Elizabeth I, for his adherence to
the Catholic Faith. Celebrate Mass in the Arundel Cathedral. Return to Oxford for a celebratory Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Oxford.
