About the Santa Barbara Jewish Festival
Sunday, May 6, 2018 • 11:00 am-4:00 pm
Plaza del Mar, 23 Castillo Street (corner of Cabrillo Blvd near Santa Barbara Harbor)
Marking its 31st anniversary, the Santa Barbara Jewish Festival is the Central Coast’s largest community-
wide Jewish cultural festival and celebration of Israel’s Independence Day (Yom Ha’Atzmaut).

Organized by the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, the Santa
Barbara Jewish Festival welcomes thousands of visitors each year to experience and share the best of
Jewish culture—live music and Israeli dancing, arts and crafts vendors, family and children’s activities, local
community organizations, and of course...delicious food!

The Venue
The 2018 Santa Barbara Jewish
Festival will be held at the Plaza
del Mar. Centrally located on Santa
Barbara’s beautiful waterfront, Plaza
del Mar boasts ocean and harbor
views shaded by dozens of majestic
palm trees. On the corner of Cabrillo
Boulevard, one of Santa Barbara’s
busiest streets, the park is just
minutes away from many of city’s
most popular attractions.

Plaza del Mar offers plenty of parking
nearby, easy connections to public transportation, and handicap accessibility.

The Impact of Sponsorship
The Santa Barbara Jewish Festival is an important and vibrant piece of the
mosaic that represents Santa Barbara’s rich history and tradition of ethnic and
cultural celebrations. The 2013 Pew Research Religion & Public Life Project
estimates that Santa Barbara’s Jewish population stands at 8,000 and the
Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara offers you the greatest and most
effective exposure to this community. We invite you to align your company and brand with the Jewish
community as a sponsoring partner. We make every effort to bring recognition to the businesses that
graciously donate their products, services, and financial support. We look forward to establishing a
partnership with you to spur the continued success of the Santa Barbara Jewish Festival and position your
company as a charitable supporter of culture and diversity.

All sponsorship packages and options are flexible, and can be individually designed and tailored. This
enables your company to receive the greatest possible tangible returns on sponsorship dollars, and to
meet your company’s individual needs, budget, and marketing plans.

BOOTH/DISPLAY AGREEMENT:
In consideration of being granted a Booth/Display at the Jewish Festival “Celebration” at Plaza Del Mar (Corner of Castillo St. and
Shoreline Dr., Santa Barbara, CA 93101) on Sunday, May 6, 2018, the undersigned agrees to all of the following terms and conditions:

1. Only the number of booths and tables reserved and paid for will be supplied on the day of the event.
2. Set-up, by your representative(s), Booth/Display will take place between 8:30 am and 10:30 am. The event opens to the public at
11:00 am and will conclude at 4:00 pm. Food Vendors to be ready for inspection by 9:00 am.
3. All materials from Booth/Display must be removed by 5:30 pm the day of the event. Booth/Display tear-down may not begin
    before 4:00 pm.
4. The organizers of the Celebration have sole discretion as to the placement of the Booth/Display.
5. The organizers of the Celebration reserve the right to cancel this contract at any time by returning payment.
6. None of the organizers of the Celebration or the volunteers helping with the Celebration shall be responsible for the theft, loss, or
breakage of personal or Booth/Display materials.
7. The organizers of the Celebration make no representations or warranties other than those expressly set forth in this contract.
8. Any special requests for additional Booth/Display needs must be made in writing on the Booth Application and must be
accompanied by the payment specified in the Application.
9. Unless you choose to order and pay for a canopy, you will receive only a table and chairs, and there may be no structures on which
to hang items. In light of Santa Barbara’s variable weather (e.g., fog, wind, sun – yes, even rain) we recommend that you order and
pay for a canopy. As noted on the Booth Application, a 7 foot canvas umbrella is also available for an additional charge.
10. Electrical access needs must be noted on the Booth Application. Only a limited number of Booths/Displays may have access to
electricity, for which there will be a $50 additional charge. Electricity will be provided only to those who have requested and paid for
it. You must provide your own UL-approved extension cord.
11. No ID will be required for Booth/Display participants. The event is free for the public, so you may have as many people assisting at
    your booth as you like.
12. You may park in our reserved street parking area along Castillo Street while you unload your materials, but then must move your
vehicle to a nearby lot or street parking. Volunteers will be available to watch your unloaded materials while you find a parking
space. You MUST do this before you locate and begin setting up your Booth/Display.
13. You will be directed to your Booth/Display, which will have your name on it. You may arrange your booth any way you wish, as long
as all merchandise and displays remain within the designated 10’ x 10’ or 6’ x 6’ space. Plastic table cover will be provided at no
    additional charge.
14. There is no rain contingency date. Our Celebration will take place regardless of the weather.
15. Cancellation policy: No refunds within 30 days of Celebration date; 25% of payment processing fee required, cancellation prior to
30 days before the Celebration date.
16. Booths/Displays causing any damage to City or Celebration property, based on damages reported, or failure to comply with
Celebration guidelines, City and/or Health Dept regulations (e.g., trash left behind, staining, etc.) are subject to fines.
17. One-Day Vending Licenses are required for all food, drink and/or artisan vendors. Your booth may be forfeited if your license is not
approved by the City of Santa Barbara within our set deadline, 2 weeks before the event. If you are making any sales, the State
Board of Equalization requires a valid seller’s permit number. If you do not have a valid permit, you must apply for one at
www.boe.ca.gov or you cannot sell at our event.

The undersigned agrees to all of the above terms and conditions.
