Frye Park
Kelmscott Roos SC v Shamrock Rovers Perth FC
www.kelmscottroos.comThe President would like a word… Welcome to Frye Park – thanks to all sponsors, committee members, helpers, players and everyone involved at the club – we cannot exist without you President, Kelmscott Roos SC - Dennis Warwick Coaches Corner We had a tough game last week against Canning. Nothing can be taken for granted in this division. We fought back well with only 10-men on the pitch…which was very encouraging. Today we welcome Shamrock, and will be hoping to bounce back with a result today. May all games be played in the right spirit – we hope to see you in the bar afterwards to chat about the game. First Team Coach, Kelmscott Roos SC – Richard Changadzo _________________________________________________________________ Although last week’s 1-0 loss was disappointing, I cannot fault our effort to get something out of the game…which is what we deserved – but sometimes, that’s just football for you. We are looking forward for our return match today in what was a close game the last time we played. Reserves Coach, Kelmscott Roos SC – Richard Bryant _________________________________________________________________ In the spirit of using player progress and development as one small measure of success, this week I commence by congratulating Abeniko (Niko) Thang on his start and great performance for the first team. I have no doubt that this is one of many and shows a clear pathway in the club for his U18 teammates to follow. With only 4 more games until the lights are out for the season, we welcome Shamrock FC in what should be a competitive match and our penultimate home game of the season. Best wishes to Richard, Rich, Clem and all our teams and a reminder to play as footballers when we have the ball and bulldogs fighting to get there bone back when we do not have the ball. However, let us make sure that it is all within the spirit of the game. U18 Coach, Kelmscott Roos SC – Issi Toure
