Activities Club
The LuLu Activities Club had the pleasure of
participating in a Philadelphia Sports Triple Header
on Saturday April 27th. To start off the Sports Triple
Header, several members were tailgating in the
parking lot of Xfinity Live. They were all getting in the
mood for the 2019 Philadelphia Soul season. Then,
at 3pm, everyone walked inside the Wells Fargo
Center to watch the 3 time Arena Bowl champion
Philadelphia Soul battle their Jersey shore rivals and several players hit home runs. One of the home

Sixers lost that night to the Nets.
The LuLu Activities Club is looking to go back to see
the Phillies and Soul later in the summer. We are
planning a trip on Saturday, July 6th to Atlantic
City to watch the Soul Battle the Blackjacks at
Boardwalk Hall.

Steve spoke about his own
personal experiences being a
two-time organ recipient.
He first received a cornea
transplant in his middle 30’s
on his left eye. Later, in his
60’s, he received a heart
transplant when he only had
hours to live. Steve spoke at
length about the gift of life he
was given by his two donors
and how his is only able to be
here today because of them.
He told us how he cried at his
daughter’s wedding, because
he never thought he would
live long enough to see his
daughter’s wedding.

Steve also let the audience know that no matter what
age they are, everyone can save a life and be an
organ donor. He said to make sure your family knows
of your wishes.
In the month of June we are planning a special meeting
at Hampton Hall in Southampton. The night will
be special because we will have a book signing and
reading by Author Jill Osterhout. Jill is the Founder of
the Bobby’s Playground & Random Acts of Kindness
Initiative. Jill is the proud daughter of Rick and Linda
Endrick, members of the Bucks County Shrine Club.
Also, later in the month, on Wednesday the 26th, we
