the hundreds of program and events, we have what you are looking
for! Be sure to check out some new events like Donuts with Dad,
Splash into Reading, The Campout Experience and Volley for PAWS!
We continue to offer fun, new ideas for our tweens like our Tween
Bonfire and Bags Night, Trail Time Thursday and our Tween Float
Trip down the DuPage River. Our popular cooking classes are back
for all ages! Along with our year-round Adult programs, we are now
offering some new ones like Take a Hike Tuesdays where we travel
by bus to hit some exciting trails in Illinois and Fun with Fabric where
you will learn some basic sewing skills and meet some new friends! Ted Schulz, President
We are excited to announce the Sanctuary Golf Course has a new
website and it is definitely up to par! The Sanctuary offers many
different golf lessons and programs to fit all skill levels. Be sure
to check out our senior specials and events we are offering this
Summer. The Course grounds crew updated many of the bunkers
and fixed some drainage issues in the off-season to enhance the play
of the course. Everything looks fantastic! Visit golfsanctuary.com for

Your Parks Maintenance Department has been busy keeping
your neighborhood parks beautiful and clean. From the regular
Brian Fischer, Vice President Dale Larson, Secretary
maintenance to the beautification of the parks, they are consistently
hard at work to improve your park experience. Be sure to visit our all-
inclusive playground at Leigh Creek South Park that was completed
this past winter. Be sure to check out the grand opening which will
be held on Thursday, July 15. Sky Harbor Park construction will begin
very soon as we were awarded a $400,000 OSLAD Grant last year.
Very soon you will be able to workout at the new state of the art
outdoor Fitness Court™ that is being installed at the corner of Haven
Avenue and Gear Drive near Old Plank Trail and the New Lenox
Commons. We want to thank Silver Cross Hospital, the Village of
New Lenox and all of our other sponsors and partners who assisted

aspirations of playing on a High School golf team, then this is the
class you need to take! This summer long program (8 lessons) will
sharpen your skills and prepare your game and mind for High School
golf. With a 5:1 student to teacher ratio, we will be able to look at
all facets of your individual golf game and tweak them accordingly.

To accommodate working parents, we offer before and after camp care. Our doors open at 6:30am. Our Before Care staff will provide your
child with a light breakfast and they will go to Camp Wewannago. After Camp Wewannago ends at 3:30pm, our After Care staff will provide an
afternoon snack, drink and activities. After Care will be open until 6:30pm. Online weekly registration will be available after your $30 registration
fee has been paid for Camp Wewannago. To ensure proper staffing, weekly payment is due by 8:00am on the Tuesday of the previous week or a

Are you looking for exciting outdoor activities for your child over
the long summer days? Your child’s summer days will be filled with
group activities, games, sports, arts and crafts and field trips at Camp
Sunshine! All campers must wear their camp T-shirt every day.
T-shirts are available for purchase upon registration for $7. You may
choose your child’s days each week. Each camper will be required to
bring a lunch and drink each day unless otherwise noted.
All participants must fill out the Camp Sunshine Registration Form
