9:15 AM: Kids Fun Run—Kids loop Sandy Trail
10:00 AM: Kids Fishing Derby
11:00 AM: BBQ Chicken Dinners & Cornhole Tournament
12:00 PM: Family DJ & Treasure Dig
2:00 PM: Sand Castle Competition—Bring buckets & shovels
*8 award max per winning team—fill holes and cleanup debris after judging!
2:30 PM: Bingo Under Big Tent—25¢ per card or 5/$1 *Prizes Awarded*
3:30 PM: Sand Castle Judging/Award Ceremony
6:00 PM: Holiday Lakes Ski Club Show at the Main Beach
7:00 PM: Boat Parade—Line up at Goodsites by 6:45 PM (Olympic Flag will be
flown at Line Up Location)
*Participants pick up your line up number from the office prior to festival
8:00PM: Live Band Featuring: 99 to Main 8PM-Midnight
Raffle: All day on beach—ALL winners announced at 7PM
*Must not be present to win*
2Kids Fun Run 9:15AM
No registration or fee needed. The kids will loop
Sandy Trail.
Kids Fishing Derby 10:00AM
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Small children must
wear life vests as a safety precaution. Each participant is responsi-
ble for bringing his or her own fishing equipment.
Age Categories: Up to 6 yrs & 7-12 yrs
All Bait will be provided!
BBQ Chicken Dinner 11:00AM
$10.00 Chicken Dinner Includes: 1/2 Chicken, scalloped potatoes, baked
beans, roll & drink
$4.00 Hot Dog Dinner Includes: Hot Dog, chips & drink
A La Cart Items: Hot Dog $2.00, 2 Watermelon slices $1.00, Pop or Water
$1.00 and Chips $1.00
Sand Castle Competition 2:00PM
Bring your own buckets and shovels to build your castle! Judges will award 2
teams in the 16 & under category and 2 teams in the family category. Teams
may have a max of 8 people. After judging fill holes and remove debris.
Judging is at 3PM.
3Cornhole Tournament 11:00AM
Pre-register at the lodge office your team of 2! Cost per team is
$25.00. We are accepting a max of 16 teams.
1st place wins cash prize and tumbler 2nd place wins t-shirt & $25
Ice Cream Truck Treats
We will again be having Sweet Smitty’s Ice Cream Cart at Lake Fest!
So bring cash for your kiddo’s! Sand Castle Competition winners will
receive a FREE ICE CREAM TREAT!!
Ski Show 6:00 PM
The Holiday Lakes Ski Club will be performing at the main beach!
Please remember there will be no swimming allowed beginning at
6:00 PM and boat traffic should be kept to a minimum during the
ski show.
Boat Parade Contest 7:00PM
Decorate your pontoon with Olympic theme in mind! We are limiting our parade
to 12 boats. Sign up now at the lodge office. First place get to pick their spot on
the beach and will be awarded the 2021 Lake Fest Boat Parade Winner Flag! Our
2nd & 3rd place winners will receive a pennant!
Line up at Goodsites by 6:45PM!
*Line up location will be marked with an Olympic Flag!*
Admissions
2021 Lake Fest celebration is for MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS ONLY!
You must have your 2021 HL wristband for entry. No outside admission will be
permitted.
4Office Closed During Lake Fest
The Holiday Lakes Lodge Office will be CLOSED July 24th. No boat sticker
sales, billing inquires or wristband exchange the day of the festival. Anyone
without a current 2021 wristband will not be permitted. It is your responsi-
bility to obtain your bands prior to the festival. Gate keepers will be at both
the main beach gate and the lower deck gate of The Brass Pelican.
Snack Shack 2PM-Midnight
Be sure to bring cash for some evening snacking! We will be selling
Domino’s pizza slices, chips, pop and water!
T-Shirt Sales
T-Shirts will be available at the main gate starting July 23rd at 6PM! Shirt
sales will continue at the main gate during Lake Fest on July 24th!

62021 LAKE FEST BOAT PARKING
Silent Auction (3 Spots): We have 3 spots that you can bid on for your reserved
boat parking during Lake Fest. Place your bid on a sign up sheet in the office. At-
tached map shows the spot locations. Bid cut off time: Saturday, July 17th at 11:00
AM.
Drawing (12 Spots): 12 dock parking spots near the Brass Pelican will be assigned
via drawing winners. The tickets to enter the drawing are no charge (one per mem-
bership please). Tickets are available in the lodge office. Winners pulled and con-
tacted on July 19th. Winners may park after the Kids Fishing Derby is over and chil-
dren are safely off of the docks.
Swim Rope Area Boat Parking (12 Spots): The first 12 to sign up for the boat pa-
rade will get a beach parking spot following the parade. YES YOU MUST DECORATE
YOUR BOAT TO PARTICIPATE.
1ST COME 1ST SERVE BEACH PARKING (APROX 16 SPOTS): AFTER the beach is
raked by maintenance the morning of Lake Fest. You may park in available spaces
on the beach. Spaces will be on both sides of the swim ropes. A FINE WILL APPLY
TO BOATS WHO PARK PRIOR TO BEACH BEING RAKED! Please help us out by keep-
ing the beach area clear for the tractor to rake!
Designated Drop Off/ Pick Up Docks (2 Spots): We will have 2 dock spots RE-
SERVED for DROP OFF/ PICK UP ONLY!! Please be courteous and make your trans-
fers quickly!! Far north dock and the dock to the south near the Brass. (See at-
tached map)
7Watercraft Registration
Per the Holiday Lakes Rules and Regulations (B9) all watercrafts must be registered
with the State of Ohio as well as the Holiday Lakes office. Any member with a water-
craft that is in the lake without proper registration will receive the appropriate viola-
tion letter and/or fine. The watercraft is also subject to towing at the owners ex-

with both a state in the United States and Holiday Lakes and owned by such members
with watercraft titled to lot owner.

Sunday Service
The July Sunday Service will be held on July 18th at 9
AM. More information on the August service will be an-
nounced in the August Beacon as well as on Nextdoor
and Facebook! We look forward to seeing you all there!
Rules & Regulations Update:
After review of the Holiday Lakes Rules and Regulations the Board of Directors have
voted to add an addendum to Holiday Lakes Boating and Swimming Rules B9 Sec-
tion A:
As of April 14, 2021 a voting member may register one pontoon, one powerboat,
and one other powered watercraft of 13 feet or under. (Examples of one powered
watercraft 13 feet or under could be but are not limited to aluminum fishing boat,
jet ski, zodiac, etc.) All watercrafts must follow the current
Holiday Lakes criteria.
Any grandfathered boats would have to have been
registered with the Holiday Lakes Office as of the 2020

Beginning July 19th “Game Night” will be hosted at the Holiday Lakes Lodge on the
first and third Mondays of the month at 5:30 P.M.. Bring your favorite game! The
game choice will be decided by all players. If you have any questions please contact:
