1IMPORTANT NOTICE
General Regulations
* Participants and visitors must respect the authority of both the Farm Show Complex and the Show officials.
* Participants and visitors must abide by posted signs on the grounds which may include certain areas marked
"Please do not allow animals on the grass" and must be respected.
* Any arguing, abusive language or failure to follow rules or directions of the Farm Show Complex or the Event
Committees will result in ejection from the show grounds, forfeiture of all parking privileges and/or a Bench Show
Committee hearing without refund of fees.
* No Flexi-leads in the building. No human or canine strollers in the building.
The show buildings are designated as NO SMOKING areas. The Farm Show Complex will strictly enfore this
regulation. Please cooperate!
Enforcement of the State laws regarding Handicapped Parking areas will also be strict. Please observe these laws
and do not park in these areas unless your vehicle is so designated.
DAY PARKING
* The Farm Show complex is charging spectators $10/day (or as charged by the Farm Show) for the parking lot
adjacent to the Complex. The clubs do not see any revenue from this fee.
Spectator/overflow parking may be directed to other lot(s) and fees for those lots will be set by the Farm Show
Complex. If other lots are used, there will be a shuttle service available.
EXHIBITOR PARKING
* An exhibitor will not be charged for parking provided the exhibitor has their issued parking pass.
One Parking Pass will be issued per exhibitor address, regardless of the number of entries owned or co-owned
by the exhibitor. Parking passes are issued soley based on a single address.
The Exhibitor Parking Pass will be mailed with the entry and judging schedule. Per The Farm Show, lost or
misdirected parking passes cannot and will not be replaced. If you do not have your parking pass, you will
have to pay to park. If you pay to park, the clubs or farm show will not reimburse you.
Motorhome/Camper Parking
See Motorhome parking reservation form for more information and fees. Overloading circuits will result in tripped
breakers. Restoring power may not be immediate, especially at night! If you lose electric during the night, go to the
Security Desk in the Cameron Street Lobby.
$190.00 for 4 days with advance reservations; $210.00 for 4 days without advance reservations.
Any time less fewer 4 days is $80 for the first day and $70 for each subsequent day.
Motorhome parking will be directed. You are expected to comply with parking regulations and directions No saving
of multiple spaces nor use of cones to reserve space will be permitted.
Motorhomes and campers may not move onto the grounds any earlier than 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 10,
2019. Violators agree to pay the cluster $100.00 in addition to any parking/hookup fees and may be required
to move. Please use Industrial Road entrance.
Motorhomes and campers will be directed to the available lots/spots for these shows. Other areas of the grounds
are restricted.
In order to prevent more significant increase in parking fees and severe restrictions on Motorhome/Camper parking
regulations, please respect the grounds, personnel and equipment.
* Handicapped Parking - There are a limited number of Handicapped Parking spaces available. However, this
guarantees roadway access and does not guarantee close proximity to rings/buildings. All parking is at the
direction of the Farm Show Complex staff and you may be asked to provide identification verifying that you
are, in fact, the legal holder of the handicapped placard or license plate.
Access to the building - The show building will be available to exhibitors AFTER 4 PM on Wednesday, April 10,
2019, until 10 PM. All vehicles must be removed from the building by 5:00 PM. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday,
the building will be open from 6 AM until 11 PM and the building will reopen Sunday morning at 6 AM. All dogs and
equipment must be removed immediately after Best in Show on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
Unloading -
* All unloading from the BACK of the building! Enter from Industrial Road.
* Keep headlights on while unloading/loading.
* Vehicle must be removed from unloading zone immediately after unloading/loading or you will be subject to towing
at your expense and/or a Bench Show hearing.
Set-up
* No set up in the building before 4 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
* Dogs may be left in the building overnight; a guard will be on duty in the building overnight; however, neither the
Farm Show Complex nor the show giving clubs are responsible for any animals or equipment left in the building.
NO ADMITANCE from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM! Anyone attempting to enter the show area between the hours
of 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM may be subject to a Bench Show Hearing.

2* No private ex-pens or mats/rugs in grooming area during show hours.
* Crates MUST be stacked. No mesh crates in the grooming area.
* Chairs in the grooming area must be folded when not in use.
* No saving of space in the grooming area.
Directions of the Event Staff must be followed in the grooming area. Failure to comply may result in a Bench
Show hearing.
Inside electricity will be available in the grooming area. The charge for each electric outlet is $120.00 for the
weekend and must be paid at the time of connection. No sharing of outlets will be permitted by the Farm Show
complex. If you wish to use inside electricity, please ask for event staff to turn on electric and issue "paid" tag.
Unpaid/unauthorized use of electric is grounds for bench show hearing.
Admission - $6 per person. Children 12 and under are admitted free. One admission with each entry.

FROM PITTSBURGH AND WEST VIA THE PA TURNPIKE - Travel East on the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit
242. Take I-83 North to 2nd Street Exit (Exit 43). At first traffic light at bottom of ramp, turn right onto Paxton
Street. At next traffic light (car dealer on left, restaurant on right), turn left onto Cameron Street. (PA Rt 230).
Follow Cameron Street approximately 1.9 miles, corssing over Maclay Street to Farm Show Parking lot on left.
FROM PHILADELPHIA AND EAST VIA THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE - Travel West on the Pennsylvania
Turnkike to Exit 247. Follow I-283 North toward Harrisburg. Take I-83 North to Rt. 81 SOUTH. Travel I-81 South
to Cameron Street (PA Rt. 230) Exit 67 (East) to Farm Show on right.

Handicap Parking: will be available only upon display of a valid disabled placard or
license. These spaces will provide roadway access not closeness to the rings.

Permission is granted by the American Kennel Club for the holding of this
event under American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations.

NOTICE
The number of motels refusing dogs because of abuse of their premises continues to
increase. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at
this show has abused motel property during this Cluster may result in disciplinary action
by the Clubs. The Lebanon County Kennel Club, Harrisbury Kennel Club and the Mason
& Dixon Kennel Club reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog
Shows.

MEET THE BREEDS
will be held on Saturday at the show site. Interested participants should contact
Suzanne Benchoff at Conewago@supernet.com prior to April 5th if they wish to
participate.
A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging.
AKC approval is not required.
The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table or ramp).
At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels
of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Clumber Spaniel, English Springer Spaniels, Field
Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire
Bull Terriers, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs and Norrbottenspets (Misc).
At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the
following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.
The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels,
Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at
AKC conformation doing shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes
Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled
Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions.
Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any ground breed. In an emergency situation, where use
of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving
a refund.
For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds.

PUBLICATION RIGHTS - By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights
to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons
or animals participating in it or the results of the competitiion before, during or after the event, shall belong solely
to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or
biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner,
handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph
of any person or animal participating in this competition.

Entry blank MUST be filled out with the necessary information, otherwise the entry in Junior Showmanship

NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of
the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places with competition present in a
Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on
the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, with competition
present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
NOVICE SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day
of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, with competition present, in
a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
10OPEN JUNIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the
show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice
Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.
OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the
day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in
a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.
OPEN SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the
show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice
Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.
MASTER CLASS: This Class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day
of the show, and who have won the 10 Best Junior wins with competition from the Open Class. The calendar
for this class will consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting
the criteria for this class are required to entry the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show
if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return
to the Open Class to complete for the following year.
Competition must exist for Best Junior Handler.

ENTRY FEE: EACH DAY $35.00 for the first entry of each dog except Puppy Class (6-12) $25.00 (including $3.00 AKC
Event Service Fee, 50¢ AKC recording fee and $3.00 AKC additional entry of the same dog. Bred-by-Exhibitor Class is
$30. Junior Showmanship Only $25.00 and $10.00 for Junior Showmanship if entered in another class.
CLOSING DATE for entries 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 (at Superintendent's Office) after which entries cannot
be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 14, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules.
THE SHOW TRIAL will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
An AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at
any Licensed or Member Club Show. If a dog is entered in more than one class in one of these events, the AKC Recording
Fee and Service Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section
2). All Recording Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.
RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a $30.00 collection fee to the amount
of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH
ONLY basis.
TELEGRAPH, TELEPHONE and UNSIGNED ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORMS AND PHOTOCOPIES OF ENTRY FORMS without the Agreement
and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

ENTRIES RECEIVED WITHOUT FEES will not be accepted.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards. The
person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. SHOULD
SUCH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOT BE RECEIVED BY THE EXHIBITOR within a reasonable time, please notify Jim
Rau Dog Shows, Ltd., (610) 376-1880.
MAKE ALL CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS PAYABLE TO Jim Rau Dog Shows, Ltd. Please mail checks or money
orders with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail.
ALL CREDIT CARD ENTRIES, REGARDLESS OF METHOD SUBMITTED, are processed through the Fax program
and will be charged a $4.00 per dog per show convenience fee.
CANADIAN EXHIBITORS make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS.
NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE AND NO ENTRY SHALL BE ACCEPTED WHICH SPECIFIES ANY CONDITIONS AS
TO ITS ACCEPTANCE.
ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or
barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control
of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made.
ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such
errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of error or cancellation of entry after the published closing date.
NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has
been processed, no refund will be made.
CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.
DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be
excused.
JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the
presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the
superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or
runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.
ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising
ring.
CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in
the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendent and
Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.
THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but
will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors
participating in this show.
NOTE - The Lebanon County, Harrisburg and Mason-Dixon Kennel Clubs are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Please check your grooming area before you leave. THERE IS NO LOST AND FOUND AT THIS SHOW.

PARKING - Spectators $10.00 per day. Exhibitors No charge with Parking Pass.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external
parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.
An administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
NOTE: PARKING FEES ARE COLLECTED BY THE PA STATE FARM SHOW STAFF. THE
HOST CLUBS DO NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PARKING FEES AND DO NOT

age. Champions of Record are eligible for Puppy Sweepstakes. All dogs and bitches entered in Puppy
Sweepstakes must also be entered in a Regular Classes at this Specialty. Puppy sweepstakes will be
judged prior to regular classes. Entries must be made on regular entry form and indicated in additional

Puppy Sweepstakes are open to registered Alaskan Malamute 6 months of age and under 18 months of age.
Champions of Record are eligible for Puppy Sweepstakes. All dogs and bitches entered in Puppy Sweepstakes
must also be entered in a Regular Classes at this Specialty. Puppy sweepstakes will be judged prior to regular
classes. Entries must be made on regular entry form and indicated in additional class box, as "Puppy Sweepstakes"
and age group. Entry fee: $15.00
