Membership Dues are Due!

July 15th It's almost a New Year - not in the traditional sense, but the Rotary Year begins July 1.
That means new officers, new committee assignments for some, and time to pay
membership dues for all. Dues may be paid for the first 6 months or the entire Rotary
Year.
To pay by check, please make it payable ($140.00 for six months or $260.00 for a full
year) to "Champaign Rotary" and mail it to Todd Salen at 1222 Lancaster Drive,
Champaign 61821. New this year, dues may also be paid through the club website by
choosing one of the options under �Pay Membership Dues� in the left margin.
FIZZ Writers Needed!

The Fizz committee is looking for one or
two additional writers for the upcoming
2021-22 Rotary year. The work is not
hard and only requires producing the Fizz
once every 4-6 weeks. Writers do need
the ability to use a web-based editor to
produce content, but the templates and
procedures are established and
uncomplicated. Please contact Scott
Dahman (dahman@ieee.org) if you can
help.

This event will honor the 2020-2021 Champaign Rotary President Marlys Scarbrough and
will welcome the new 2021-2022 Champaign Rotary President Shandra Summerville.

This will be an outdoor event, weather permitting. Champaign Rotarians & spouses/significant

June Cup: Champaign Urbana Canteen Run

Our Charity Cup organization for June is Champaign Urbana Canteen Run, a group of
churches that have come together to provide support to the homeless community in our
area. They take a canteen truck through downtown Champaign and Urbana to offer
food, drinks, shirts, underwear blankets, information about agencies that can help them,
and prayers to anyone on the streets who needs it

Cookbook Recipes for Action Auction 2022
Calling All Cooks!
Champaign Rotary is compiling a cookbook as a
fundraiser in advance of the Action Auction. We
are asking for your favorite recipes and any
stories/memories that accompany them.
Please email them to me at
Carol@EducationalDividends.com as soon as
possible. Recipes in Word format will be
appreciated.
Also, if you'd like to join our Recipe Committee,
please let me know.

Mahomet Rotary Golf Outing - July 9, 2021

Mahomet Rotary Golf Outing
Date: Friday, July 9, 2021 (tee times start at noon).
Location: Lake of the Woods Golf Course - Mahomet, IL
Our format for the golf outing will be a �captain�s choice� best ball scramble.You can form your own foursome, or we can pair you up from registrations received.
The fee is $75 per person, which includes lunch, green fees, golf cart, and prizes.
You can sponsor a hole for $150, which includes everything above as well as advertising your
company�s or club name. Or you may sponsor a hole for your business or club for $75 without
the golf, but still enjoy lunch. All sponsors will be recognized with a sign at and acknowledged as
a V.I.P. sponsor. For $350 you can sponsor a hole and pay for a foursome.
All proceeds will support our local and international service projects designated by our club. Your
participation will help us achieve our club goals for the upcoming year.
