WEDNESDAY RUN//
By Helen Ball

Derek organised a lovely country run In true Derek fashion there were three jokes
looping from Puketitri Rd around to at the bottom of the run sheet to amuse us.
Dartmore Rd. The apple trees were laden It was a short run but a most enjoyable one,
and sadly there was also a lot of fruit rotting many thanks Derek.
on the ground, a flow on sign of last years
covid lockdown. “How does Moses make is tea?”
                                                  “Hebrews it !”
The trees had not quite got into the Autumn
colours but every now and then we got a
splash of red or gold to remind us winter
was only a few months away. The 11 cars
participating pulled into Puketapu Park for
the lunch stop, always a nice area to spend
time having a munch and a natter.

SPARES NEWS//
By John Durry

Hi All, not really a lot to say, but over the
last 2 Tuesdays cleaning up the entrance
to the spares department, firstly to get the
Chandler in and secondly to start arranging
our stock and getting ready for the 9th
May swap meet, which we are pricing &
packaging into lots ready to be taken to the
speedway pits. We attached 2 photos of the
Tyre Moulding machine & the motor meter,
which are now displayed in the hall.
We had some success with our sales last
month, moving some Tyre’s & Jeep steering
gear, we are going to put the trunk on Trade
Me.
So only 2 weeks to go till the big swap, so
for getting ready for that, other than that
there is not a lot to tell.
Until next time
Regards John Durry
