Principal’s Corner
Thank you to all of those families who filled out our parent satisfaction survey. I am so blessed to lead this incredible school
community, and I firmly believe the future is bright for Regis Middle School. Through our Strategic Planning efforts and plans to
continue to excel and enhance the education programming, I believe we are headed in the right direction. We have plenty of
things to work on as a school, and we will be using the information from our parent satisfaction survey to plan our year two
objectives for our Strategic Planning goals. Thank you for your commitment to Catholic Education and more specifically to Regis
Middle School.
I wish all of you a Lenten season filled with discernment and growth through prayer and reflection. Whether you are Catholic or
non-Catholic, you are welcome to join our staff in watching the daily videos from Matthew Kelly. If you are interested in receiving
the daily reflections click here to subscribe.
One area Matthew Kelly will walk us through is the generosity habit. Most of us think a generous life requires money and things,
but it certainly DOES NOT! You’ll be challenged to think about and live out generosity in powerful new ways . . .and will be
encouraged to meet the most generous version of you! For those who are non-Catholic, I challenge you to join us in striving to be
a better version of yourself! -Josh Gredys
Fourth Quarter Essential Rotations
The fourth quarter begins on Monday, March 21st. Essential Classes are held daily, and the grade level rotations will be:
6th grade: PE*
Please make sure you have Regis PE shorts and t-shirt. For more information about the required PE dress code go
to https://regisroyals.org/dress-code. If you are waiting on your order of PE clothes to come in, just have your
student wear red or navy blue long length shorts (at least to the tip of the finger when arms are straight down by the
student’s side) with a white or navy blue t-shirt. Thank you!
*Hygiene needs begin to change during the middle school years. Encourage your student to shower and apply
deodorant daily. Remind your student to pack clean PE clothes for the next day and include an extra deodorant in
their gym bag for use after PE.
7th grade: TECHNOLOGY
8th grade: ART2022-2023 Enrollment
More information about Enrollment for the 2022-23 school year will be coming soon. If you have a student at a Xavier Catholic
School that has opened their Enrollment Forms for next school year, please do not fill out the forms in PowerSchool for students
attending Regis. You will be receiving information on when our Enrollment will officially open the end of March.
Classroom Happenings
Our 7th Grade Science students completed their first biology lab report of the year based on observations of the Aquaponic
System that we have in our library. With these lab reports, students not only practice their observation and inference skills but get
to explore how living things interact and behave in their environment.

2022 Men’s Conference
You're invited to participate in the 2022 Men’s Conference on Saturday, March 19th from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. While the
conference will be held in person at Xavier Catholic High School in Cedar Rapids, it will also be live-streamed for virtual
participation, including the option for groups to register at a discounted rate to gather and watch the live-stream together. To learn
more, view pricing, and register a group, click here.
Since the conference will be on the Solemnity of St. Joseph (following the Year of St. Joseph), the conference presentations will

that produces the “That Man is You!” men’s program.
The lunch session will be presented by Devin Schadt, the founder of the Fathers of St. Joseph men’s ministry. To learn more about
the conference and speakers and access the promotional materials, click here. Mass for the Solemnity of St. Joseph will be
celebrated in the late morning with Archbishop Michael Jackels. Breakout sessions presented by local speakers will be offered in
the afternoon (for details, click here). The schedule for the day is available by clicking here. The schedule indicates what will be
