THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 15 – SEPTEMBER 21, 2021
                    “Go, Gather Disciples

     WORSHIP – Thursday, Sept. 16 @ 6:30pm and Sept. 19 – 8:00 am and 10:30 am.
Please make worship a part of your life.

MUSIC –

     10:30am service.
 Sun., October 10 – Jr. Choir sings at 8:00am service

SEPTEMBER 19 - SINGING IN CHURCH - An email went out on Tuesday with information
about which service your family should attend for the kids to sing. If your name is not on
the list please contact the school office. Students will sit with their families during the
service. When it is time for the students to sing, Pastor will call them to the front. The
students will return to their families after they have finished singing.

Thank you for your attention to this matter! Looking forward to hearing the children
praise God with their voices!!

PRINCIPAL’S PERSPECTIVE- During supper at our house we go around the table and tell
the others what the best part of our day was. Naturally the answers vary with the person
and the day. More often than not, we struggle to find just one bright spot in the day. One
regular thing that occurs daily that is a true bright spot for me is getting my morning fist
bumps from parents and students (and their younger siblings). It is a great way to say
good morning and get the day off on the right foot. Every day at Eastside Lutheran we
begin the day with prayer and devotion. This is like God giving us a little fist bump and
telling us that he is going to guide and bless each of us. A daily dose of God’s word is
the true best part of every day. May God richly bless your day every day!

PAVING UPDATE - The parking lot paving project has begun. Please follow the plan that
was sent about two weeks ago via email. If you have any questions, please contact the
school office.

SCRIP- Kwik Trip Scrip is 9% from now through Sept. 24th. Everyone
needs gas so grab yours today! The new app for your phone is taking over a
lot of physical card needs. If you need help downloading it or have any
questions, contact coordinator Trina Paske. Of course there are always cards
available in the school office for immediate pick up. Kwik Trip is a great
example of the ease in using the Raise Right app. Reload right at the pump!
THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 15 - SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 - Eastside ...

that mean? It is a single day when many companies offer huge rebates up to 21% on

PICTURE DAY is coming up on Thursday, Oct. 7th. Mark your calendars!

EASTSIDE LUTHERAN ART & CRAFT FAIR- As many of you know our Art and Craft Fair
is back on this year and quickly approaching! The date is set for Saturday, November
6, 2021 here at our school. Some of the areas we will be having at the Art & Craft Fair
include craft vendors, gift basket raffle, book nook, cookies by the pound, and bakery
items. This event will help raise money towards many items needed here at school and
it’s a great time for fellowship between church & school members. It’s also a great way
to get people into our facility to see what an awesome school we have.

There are a couple ways you can help out to make this a huge success.
 Sign up to volunteer to help out here:
      Art & Craft Fair 2021

move ahead with this year’s Eastside Art & Craft Fair on Sat., Nov. 6 th but after a year
like we just had, we are hesitant to solicit businesses for gift cards and donations for our
gift basket area. Instead we are asking for those that have had a blessed year and
would be willing to support us by donating a gift basket or financial donation, please
sign up at the following link. Basket Sign Up for Craft Fair 2021
