Where are we?
Torbay Paediatric Diabetes Team - Working with you, for you - RCPCH
•   Torbay covers an area of over 24 square miles

•   It is made up of the three towns of Torquay, Paignton
    and Brixham

•   Over 20 beaches and secluded coves along 22 miles of
    coastline, also known as the English Riviera

However the team cover the wider area in South Devon,
 from Dawlish warren to Kingsbridge, Ashburton and
                     Dartmoor

Inequalities have been widening as relative deprivation
worsens; Torbay is ranked as the most deprived local
authority in the South West region (JSNA, 2018)

    PZ152 Case load total - Jan 2020: 133 Patients
           125 diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
            4 diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
                 1 diagnosed with MODY
                 3 currently Undiagnosed

Team finally starts their
journey together………………...
                                                   •   The number of children looked after by
