It is situated on the River Shannon - Ireland’s longest river, and only 30 minutes from Shannon International Airport. The Shannon Region is a particularly beautiful part of Ireland and is located on the famous Wild Atlantic Way offering tremendous diversity in its scenery and activities. The University of Limerick is located in a spectacular park bordering the River Shannon and is only 10 minutes from the city centre. Students stay in attractive village style accommodation in individual houses with single rooms TRAVEL TIME FROM AIRPORT: Shannon International Airport is located approximately 20kms from the University of Limerick with an average journey time of 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Dublin airport is approximately 200 kms from the University of Limerick with an average journey time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. AIRPORT TRANSFER If you booked an airport transfer, you will see your ATC representative waiting with an ATC Language Schools sign in the arrivals hall. You will see your group name or the name of your agency. If you are unable to locate an ATC representative or are delayed in the baggage claim, please call the number provided in your airport transfer confirmation document. ARRIVAL PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS: When you arrive at the University of Limerick, you will be required to check in. An ATC member of staff will be there to assist you. You will be required to complete some paperwork and provide the security deposit before you receive your room key. The safety of our students, teachers and partners is paramount; in line with this we have implemented a number of policies, which we continue to review and update in accordance with national and international health guidelines. ATC has acquired the Failte Ireland Covid-19 Safety Charter and all of our staff members have been trained in accordance with its protocols.
