Deloitte Ireland | Moving to Ireland Guide

Welcome to Deloitte Ireland

We’re really pleased that you’re joining our team and I want to wish you all the best
in your new role. To help you get settled in, we’ve compiled this useful guide about
             living and working in Ireland.

This guide includes information on a range of topics including our business here
in Ireland, moving to and living here, getting set up for taxation and opening a
bank account. In addition, we’ve provided an overview of different aspects of life
at Deloitte, including our programmes which support work-life balance and what’s
available in and around our various offices in Ireland.

This guide was written and researched by a group of colleagues just like you –
people who moved to Ireland from another country or those who have lived
abroad at some stage during their career.

At Deloitte, we are led by a purpose – to make an impact that matters. This
purpose defines who we are and gives us our reason to exist as an organisation.

With a population of 6.57m people on the island of Ireland and a diaspora that
is estimated at more than 80m people, this small country has a huge reach. You
could say that Ireland is very good at making an impact that matters. Just think of
Bono, Saoirse Ronan and the countless others who have made an impact on the
             world stage.

As you join Deloitte in Ireland, think about what impact you will make, for our
clients, our people and for society. Let me finish with a traditional Irish greeting,
which means a hundred thousand welcomes: “céad míle fáilte.”

             Brendan Jennings
             CEO
