Thousands of native baby wild animals are now being born and it is
vital that you know what TO do and NOT to do during baby season.
February 12–19 If you find a baby bird, squirrel, opossum, rabbit, raccoon or fawn
Formula Drive who you believe needs to be rescued, take a step back and assess
the situation. Many times a rescue can be as simple as leaving him

     Drive-Through during wildlife baby season.
Baby Shower Step 1: Don’t panic. Just because you came across a baby wild animal
who appears to be alone doesn’t mean they have been abandoned.
March 4 In fact, their mother is probably nearby seeking food for them. Wild

                                except in extreme circumstances.
April 15 Step 2: Observe the baby from afar so as not to scare off the parents
Story Time with Lynn who are probably still in the area and may return. Depending on the
species, it could take as long as 4-6 hours for the parents to return to
April 16–23 their young, so it is extremely important to be patient.
Enrichment Drive Step 3: While observing the animal, try to see if the baby is in
danger or distress or is hurt or exhibiting any unnatural behavior.
April 26–29 For example, if you see a fawn who is lying on her side and breathing

The baby is exactly where her mother wants her to be.
July 20 Step 4: Watch and wait to determine if the mother returns. For
