GENERAL COMMUNITY PRESIDENT
& EXECUTIVE TEAM
CHRIS COATES - PRESIDENT
Chris is a finance professional,
an FCA and recently a member
of the PwC panel of Turnaround
Directors. He has a long
association with La Manga Club.
He was President of the Los
Miradores Community and has
previously served on the
General Committee executive
team as Vice-President - Finance.
Your new team was elected at the General Community AGM on Wednesday 17th
February and we are looking forward to working hard on your behalf.
Like everywhere La Manga Club has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic -
both in economic and social terms. However every problem provides an
opportunity and, as we come through this crisis, our intention is to make sure
that the General Community emerges stronger than ever in its role serving the
owners at La Manga Club.
We will be open, transparent and proactive. We are here to listen and to address
those concerns that fall within the General Community’s area of responsibility.

will welcome your ideas and comments.
We are lucky to spend time in this small piece of paradise. The future looks
promising and we look forward to welcoming Owners and visitors back to the
club before too long.
NEW EXECUTIVE TEAM

KEVIN LYNCH: VICE PRESIDENT -
INFRASTRUCTURE & ENVIRONMENT
Kevin is a retired management consultant. He has been coming to
La Manga Club since 1997 and is President of the Reserva del Coto
Community. He has served on the General Community as Vice
President - Infrastructure and Environment since 2018.
ANNE-MARIE BARTH: VICE PRESIDENT - COMMUNICATIONS
Anne-Marie is retired from BBC Scotland and is an experienced
broadcaster with editorial skills. She has been an owner at La Manga
Club since 2000. She now lives in the Las Brisas Community.
PAUL PARKIN: VICE PRESIDENT - FINANCE
Paul is an experienced finance professional and also a member of
the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts. He has been
coming to La Manga Club for fifteen years and became an owner at
the Las Mimosas Community in 2016.
COLIN McINTOSH: VICE PRESIDENT - LEGAL AFFAIRS
Colin is a solicitor with over 30 years experience in Corporate and
Finance Law. He moved to La Manga Club full-time in 2017 and
lives in the Los Miradores Community.

MARK BRETTON: SPECIAL ADVISOR - STRATEGIC PROJECTS
Chris has invited Mark to act as a Special Advisor. Mark volunteered
to take on projects such as the corporate governance issues of the

Chris es un profesional de las
finanzas, miembro de la FCA y
recientemente miembro de PwC.
Tiene una larga relación con La
Manga Club. Fue presidente de
la comunidad de Miradores y
anteriormente ha servido en el
equipo ejecutivo de la
Comunidad General como
Vicepresidente de Finanzas.
El nuevo equipo fue elegido en la Junta General Anual celebrada el miércoles
17 de febrero y están deseando trabajar arduamente para su beneficio.
Como en todas partes, La Manga Club se ha visto gravemente afectada por la
pandemia COVID-19, tanto en términos económicos como sociales. Sin em-
bargo, cada problema ofrece una oportunidad y, a medida que pasamos por
esta crisis, nuestra intención es asegurarnos de que la Comunidad General
emerja más fuerte que nunca en su función de servir a los propietarios de La
Manga Club.
Seremos abiertos, transparentes y proactivos. Estamos aquí para escuchar y
abordar aquellas preocupaciones que entran dentro del ámbito de responsabil-

DIOAMBIENTE
Kevin es un consultor administrativo retirado. Ha estado viniendo a
La Manga Club desde 1997 y es presidente de la comunidad Re-
serva del Coto. Ha servido en la Comunidad General como vice-
presidente de Infraestructura y Medio Ambiente desde 2018.
ANNE-MARIE BARTH: VICEPRESIDENTA - COMUNICACIONES
Anne-Marie está jubilada de BBC Escocia y es una locutora experi-
mentada con habilidades editoriales. Es propietaria en La Manga
Club desde el año 2000. Ahora vive en la comunidad Las Brisas.

Derecho Corporativo y Financiero. Se trasladó a La Manga Club a
tiempo completo en 2017 y vive en la comunidad de Miradores.
MARK BRETTON: ASESOR ESPECIAL - PROYECTOS
ESTRATÉGICOS
Chris ha invitado a Mark a actuar como Asesor Especial. Mark se
ofreció como voluntario para asumir proyectos como las cuestiones
de gobernanza corporativa de la Comunidad General. Mark es
presidente de la comunidad Las Palmeras.You can also read
