There has been a settlement at Macreddin Village since the fifth century and The Wells Spa
takes its name from the ancient wells which supply water to the site. Today all the water
used on site is sourced and purified from these natural springs. The Wells Spa heating and
hot water comes from Ireland’s largest hotel geo-thermal heat recovery system.
The Wells Spa is an adult only ‘destination spa’, featuring a Hammam massage room, dry
flotation room, heated relaxation loungers, a serail mud chamber, aroma steam room,
sauna, outdoor hot tub, numerous water features and a stunning indoor to outdoor
swimming pool. There is also a relaxation room to enjoy peaceful music and the total sense
of calm.
The Wells Spa Skincare Products
Macreddin is an organic oasis renowned for hosting Ireland’s only certified Organic & Wild
restaurant and is committed to sustainable living. Naturally, The Wells Spa range of skincare
products and treatments shares this philosophy and The Wells Spa specially selected
treatments use baborganics professional products; high-end skincare products that blend
nature and science, containing active Alpine botanical ingredients from controlled organic
cultivation.
The Wells Spa is the only spa in Ireland to import this outstandingly
effective skincare range from Germany, chosen for its outstanding skin
