Welcome The Natural Health Spa is nestled away within the Budock Vean Hotel surrounded by 65 acres of peaceful grounds. Here you will be able to relax, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of your day to day life. We all need to take a little time out for ourselves, and you are welcome to explore the gardens and woods leading down to the Helford River as part of your visit. Great customer service is at the heart of everything we do. We believe each person is unique and has different needs, so before your treatment a personal consultation is carried out to ensure that you get the best out of your treatment. Our innovative ‘Healing with the Seasons’ concept has led us to create a series of seasonal spa days and treatments to ensure your body gets the nourishment it needs to cope with the changes in the weather. Our treatment menu changes every four months and uses elements of the best seasonal gifts from natures larder. Our Spa has 4 treatment rooms, including a dual treatment room for friends or couples, plus a nail bar, swimming pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub. At the end of 2018 we were thrilled to win Bronze at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in the ‘Spa Pampering and Wellbeing’ category, as well as being a finalist in the Good Spa Awards for ‘Customer Service’. New for 2019 - Elemental Herbology - our new product house We’re proud to announce our partnership with Elemental Herbology, a natural skincare and bodycare brand who combine innovative ingredient technology with natural botanicals to transform your skin and improve your wellbeing. Their philosophy is based on the Five Element Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a belief that everything in life needs to work in harmony in order to achieve perfect equilibrium. Elemental Herbology products relate to each of the five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. And alongside them, we believe that a balance of all the elements is needed depending on your skin type, environmental factors, lifestyle and the seasons.
Spa Days These days are perfect for anyone who needs to escape from the busy world and an ideal way to spend quality time with people you care about. Specialising in seasonal spa days and celebration days for up to 20 people, our team is dedicated to ensuring you select a package customised for you so your experience from booking to pampering is personal and stress free. Each package includes: use of a robe, a towel and slippers, swimming pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub overlooking the gardens. Light lunch with a soft drink. ‘Healing with the Seasons’ Spa Day Mon - Thurs £58 Choose one of our innovative seasonal treatments which will include a Fri - Sun £60 45 minute treatment comprising massage, body wrap or facial. The ingredients will change with the seasons, check our website for the latest options. ‘Elemental Herbology’ Five Element Spa Day 60 mins £75 Using only natural and bio-nutritious skincare products, choose from a Five Element Aroma Massage or a Five Element Aroma Facial. ‘Elemental Herbology’ Five Element Experience 30 mins £55 Choose from a Five Element acupressure scalp massage or a coconut shell cream body scrub. ‘Elemental Herbology’ Five Element Pre-Natal Wellbeing Spa Day 60 mins £75 Includes a massage developed specifically to address the body’s needs during pregnancy, this treatment is the perfect remedy to ease an aching back, shift fluid retention, alleviate stretch marks and promote a state of calm and optimum wellbeing. ‘ELEMIS’ Indulgence Spa Day 90 mins £116 Includes a relaxing and detoxifying back, neck and shoulder massage plus an ELEMIS Superfood Pro-Radiance Facial.
Natural and bio-nutritious, Elemental Herbology skincare is made in England and uses no synthetic fragrances, artificial colours, mineral oils, sulphates, paraben preservatives and no animal testing. We will ask our spa customers to answer a Five Element consultation prior to their treatment to help identify your element for the day so we can include it in your treatment. This transformative facial combines healing botanicals, vitamins and marine extracts to feed the skin and restore equilibrium, while creating a more vibrant and healthy complexion. Incorporating deep cleansing, exfoliation, nourishment and a luxurious 20 minute facial massage, this treatment replenishes the skin giving you immediate and long lasting results. Clear Cleanse Facial 60 mins £63 Pollution, lifestyle and stress all contribute to congested and unbalanced skin. Our intensive skin detoxification facial includes a double mask of revitalising Aloe Vera and Cucumber followed by a mineral-rich clay mask infused with purifying Manuka Honey, Rosemary and Tea-Tree. Yoga and Wellbeing Taking a holistic approach to your wellbeing, here at the Natural Health Spa we offer sunrise yoga classes at our Riverside Studio, a great way to start your day. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. We can also offer 1-to-1 sessions with our in-house yoga instructor – whether you are staying with us or live locally – for just £29 for a one hour session. Even the shortest time spent in quiet contemplation will repair and recharge.
