WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE!
25 February - 6 March 2016
An extreme cycle tour with a difference. A tour unlike any other
cycle tour in South Africa. A tour with extreme conditions,
during which you will be meeting the people of South Africa and
experience real South African hospitality, where you will be able
to help the less fortunate, but most importantly where you will
directly impact thousands of children on the way. A tour that will
impact your life… 2016 Team Leader, Dirk Lourens
2016 Xtremeforkids
There are many extreme cycle tours in South Africa, but none of them with such a huge and long impact of which the most
important is the messages shared with the children during the school visits. During the last three years more than 30 000 children
were reached with this tour. More importantly is that this project reaches into rural communities often overseen by awareness
projects like these. In addition to this, the funds raised with this tour helps thousands of abused children every year.
The theme for 2016 is once again “Getting Conversation Going” and 12 schools will be visited as part of the tour. The Awé theatre
play will join the tour and all the kids will receive therapy guides. SAPS Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Units
and SAPS will supply support with regards to safety and reporting.
