"Camperships" are scholarships or financial aid provided to campers
Camperships Awarded in 2018: $322,015
It costs $1850 for a camper to attend a one week session at
CHT. All campers receive camperships to minimize the
financial burden families face when choosing to send their
child to Camp. Our supporters make this and all the
wonderful things at CHT possible!

Camp Holiday Trails creates a
community that empowers
children and teens with
medical needs to thrive.
What we cannot quantify are
the number of friendships
made, the lives transformed,
the sense of belonging, the
unwavering support of this
community, and the
memories that our Camp
Family carry with them when
they leave this magical place.
Numbers cannot express how
Josephine felt when she
climbed to the top of the rock
wall, Alex's feelings as he fell
asleep under the stars or
Olivia's when she rode a
unicorn. Here, medical
diagnoses take the backseat to
joy, exploration and fun. A
camper quote that is repeated
often is, "Camp is not the real
world, but it's what the real
world should be."

*While not a primary diagnosis, many children with chronic
illness also have a mental health diagnosis.
