Lake Pearl offers a selection of flexible bar service plans for your event.
Packaged Bar programs are available, but at Lake Pearl we suggest
Consumption Bar Service – either full bar or beer and wine.
We can provide this for a time frame, to a specific price point or for specific beverage levels.
Prepayment for Consumption Bars is estimated based on historic averages and is expected
with your final pre-payment.
Bar service ends one half hour prior to the contracted end of your event.
Lake Pearl does not serve shots.
In accordance with state liquor laws we cannot serve more than
two drinks to a person at any one time.
State liquor laws provide that all beverages on premise must
be purchased through and served by Lake Pearl.
We will confiscate and destroy any outside alcohol found on premise.
The failure of your guests to respect state laws and Lake Pearl policies may result in
limitations to or discontinued bar service.

MINIMUM REVENUE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum food revenue amount will be assigned to your
booking and included in your contract. Minimums are determined by event space and vary based on
the type of event, day of the week, time of the day, time of the year, and date of the booking. Your
Sales Manager will review revenue requirements with you on contracting. Minimums do not include
service charges, administrative fees, and taxes.
PRICING: Menu prices are subject to change without notice. All events are subject to the prevailing
menu prices on the date of the event. Lake Pearl will guarantee a year-over-year maximum Wedding
Package increase of 7% for contracts signed up to two years in advance of event date. Pricing for
hors d’ oeuvre, wine and other alcohol beverages, rental items, amenities, set-up and ceremony fees
will be as advertised on the date of the event, unless specifically listed in the contract. Menu prices
do not include applicable service charges, fees, and taxes.
SERVICE CHARGES, FEES, AND TAXES: All Prices Subject to 20% Administrative Fee and 7% State and
Local Sales & Meal Taxes. Service charge and administrative fee are based on published menu prices
and are not reduced by any promotion or discount offered.
BARTENDER FEES: There is $100 bartender fee for any event of 100 or fewer guests requiring alcohol
beverage service.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE: An initial deposit of $1,000 ($2,000.00 for the Grand Ballroom) is
required with your signed contract to secure your event space, time and date for events of over
$5,000 revenue minimum. Events with under $5,000 revenue minimum require $500 deposit.
Payment for all event services, in full, is required 10 days prior to the date of your event. Food will
not be purchased, nor services scheduled for any event not paid in advance (unless other payment
arrangements are agreed on and stated in the contract). Lake Pearl will not be responsible for
changes in service or menu due to late payment. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. A
signed credit card authorization is required to remain on file for any additional charges that may be
incurred during your event. Lake Pearl cannot accept personal checks for final payments.
Final payments must be made by cash or certified (bank) check. We cannot accept credit card
payments in excess of $500 within 60 days of the event date.
MENU SELECTION: Menu selections are due a minimum of 90 days prior to your event; thereafter any
changes must be agreed upon by LAKE PEARL.
CHILDREN’S MEALS: Children’s meals (Chicken Fingers and Fries, Mac & Cheese or Chicken Fingers
and Fries) are available at a discounted rate. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and
may not be left unattended at any time.
GUARANTEE DUE DATE: The final number of guests to be served and your seating plan is due 14 days
prior to your event. The guest count may not be lowered after the guarantee is given; however, it
may be increased up to 3 business days prior to your event. Failure to provide your guarantee on
time may cause delays in ordering and scheduling production. Lake Pearl will not be responsible
for changes made due to late notice of guarantee.
CONTRACTED USE OF SPACE: All space is contracted for the space/room and time specified above
ONLY. Early or late arrivals that interfere with other contracted events may require Lake Pearl to
reassign your ceremony or event to another space.
BEACH AND GROUNDS USAGE: Beyond the scope of the spaces and times contracted above, usage
of the grounds, buildings and beach are at the discretion of management. Lake Pearl reserves the
right to restrict use of any area not specifically under contract. Swimming and/or boating is
permitted ONLY when lifeguard service is available. Restricted access to the lake by actions of state

boating access is limited Lake Pearl will refund any charges for lifeguard services or boating rental.
ON PROPERTY TRANSPORATION: Lake Pearl does NOT guarantee transportation for guests between
property venues. Use of our electric carts and trams are at the discretion of Lake Pearl management,
as available. Whenever transportation is available priority will be given to elderly guests, guests with
mobility issues and guests with small children. Riders ride at their own risk.
MUSIC: Lake Pearl reserves the right to control the sound level in any and all of our event spaces out
of respect for other events, neighbors and noise ordinances. Specifically, we will restrict the volume
during ceremonies or wedding processions in adjacent spaces, or after 10 pm in our Victorian Tent
and Beach areas.
DECORATIVE LIGHTING EFFECTS: All “up-lighting”, special effects lighting, special effects, must be
contracted through, or expressly approved by Lake Pearl management. We do not allow up-lighting
that is not battery powered and wireless. In accordance with local fire officials we do not permit the
use of smoke machines or any visual effect that effects visibility.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES: You may arrive for set-up no earlier than 90 minutes prior to your
event, unless other arrangements have been agreed on in advance and stipulated in your Banquet
Event Order. Earlier arrivals can be accommodated based on our event schedule for a $250.00 fee.
Daytime events may extend for one additional hour subject to our event schedule. Evening events
may extend one additional hour (until 1:00 AM latest) for a $500.00 fee. Tent events must end at
10:00 PM.
OPEN FIRE OR FIREWORKS POLICY: Open fire or Fireworks are not permitted at Lake Pearl unless
client obtains a permit from the Wrentham Fire Department; and said permit is presented a minimum
of 7 days prior to the event. In the event a client is permitted fireworks by the town a fire detail must
be present, paid for by the client. Under Massachusetts laws sparklers are considered fireworks, and
as such are illegal without a permit.
DRONE POLICY: All drone operations must adhere to all local, state and federal laws and guidelines.
Proof of FAA license or certification required to be on file a minimum of 7 days prior to the event.
Guests must be informed when an aerial drone is photographing an event. Lake Pearl requires all
drone pilots to provide proof of liability insurance, minimum $1,000,000 policy, listing as “additionally
insured” Lake Pearl restaurant Mgt. LLC and Lake Pearl Park, Inc.
DISPLAYS, DECORATIONS & PERSONAL PROPERTY: All event furniture, linens, back drops, draping,
lighting or décor items must be provided by Lake Pearl, or expressly agreed upon by prior
permission. Storage and handling fees may apply to décor items left overnight. Arrangements for set
up or displays must be made through the Sales Office at least 1 day prior to your event. All proposed
displays or decorations shall be subject to the approval of Lake Pearl. All client and guest property
brought onto the premises shall be at the sole risk of the client or guest. Lake Pearl is not responsible
for any damage or loss to any client or guest property for any reason. Fire Department regulations
forbid the use of open flames (all candles must be enclosed to the tip of the flame in glass and sit low
in the candle holder), fog machines, fire pits, or bonfires. The use of loose glitter and confetti is not
allowed. Any personal property left on premise for more than 24 hours after your event will be
disposed of by management.
DROP OFF ITEMS: Event items dropped off in advance of your event must fit in the equivalent of four
4’ x 2’ x 2’ totes. Items must be in boxes or totes labeled with Event Name, Date, Event Room.
Additional items may require storage and handling fees. We cannot accept items requiring
refrigeration, wedding cakes, floral centerpieces more than two hours in advance of the event start
time. Lake Pearl is not responsible for damage, theft or loss of items left on premise.

and procedures set forth at Lake Pearl. All vendors are required to provide Lake Pearl an
indemnification agreement and valid certificate of insurance.
LIABILITY & DAMAGE: Lake Pearl reserves the right to inspect and control all items brought onto the
premises. Lake Pearl is not liable for any damages to or loss of equipment, merchandise, or articles
left at Lake Pearl prior to, during, or following your event. The client is responsible for any damage to
the building, equipment, decorations, furniture or fixtures belonging to Lake Pearl, and for any item
lost, stolen, or damaged during your event due to the actions of your guests. Any damages or
excessive clean-up will be charged to the credit card on file.
FOOD SERVICE: No food or beverage may be brought in or removed from the premise. Outside
specialty caterers must be licensed and insured and approved by Lake Pearl prior to signing your
contract. It is the responsibility of the client to manage counts for split entrees and provide color
coded tickets or the like to indicate guest choices. Additional meals required to satisfy guests who
change their order will be billed to the credit card on file. Please let us know at least a week in
advance for any allergies or special dietary requirements and instruct guests to identify themselves
to staff so we may provide them their pre-ordered meal choices.
LIQUOR SERVICE: Open bars will be provided with an estimated advance bar payment that will be
included on your final invoice. A signed credit card authorization is required to secure any unpaid
amount from your open bar. Bar service will end at least 30 minutes prior to the end of your event.
Lake Pearl complies with all state liquor regulations and laws. Clients and their guests are not
permitted to bring into the premises or take from the premises any alcoholic beverages. We will
seize and dispose of any alcohol not purchased at Lake Pearl. Lake Pearl reserves the right, at their
sole discretion, to discontinue or refuse liquor service to any client or guest at any time. No person
under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume or purchase alcohol. Proper identification is required
for all guests to purchase or consume liquor. Special brand or beverage requests will be
accommodated whenever possible. Minimum guarantees may be required.
MARIJUANA POLICY: State law in Massachusetts prohibits smoking of marijuana in public. Smoking
marijuana is not permitted on Lake Pearl property or in any of our structures. Disregard for this policy
may result in police action.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Events cancelled
within 90 days of the event date will be charged 100% of the minimum food revenue amount as
liquidated damages. Refunds of any estimated bar amounts overpaid will be processed within 30
days of your event date. Lake Pearl is not liable for the failure to complete the contract due to
strikes, accidents, interruption in utilities, adverse weather, or any other cause outside of its control.
An alternative room, time, and date will be offered if Lake Pearl cancels the event for any of these
reasons. There are no refunds for cancelled events.
