                       ROY McCARTHY COACHES
Dear Traveller

Welcome to our 2021 Brochure filled with exciting holidays and short breaks! This year
Roy McCarthy Coaches has been in business for 50 years and this is a milestone we are
very proud of. We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks, as we know
those 50 years would not have been possible without all the fantastic people we have
met and have had the pleasure of transporting on our coaches. Hopefully, when browsing
these pages full of interesting and exciting holidays, you will find a well-deserved break
to finally look forward to!

TOURS
In the following pages you will find the itineraries and prices of our tours for this year;
though we do expect alterations due to COVID-19 it is our intention to keep you as up
to date as possible and we will send out a final itinerary two weeks before your trip along
with your travel ticket.

DAY TRIPS
At the back of the brochure you will find a small selection of days trips we have planned
for April and the start of May. When we have more clarification from the Government as
to when attractions will be open and accepting visitors, we will send out a full day trip
brochure separately for the rest of the year.

BOOKING & PAYMENT
We are accepting bookings for all the trips in our brochure, if you originally booked in
December please can you confirm whether or not you would still like to go on the trip. We
are asking for deposits for all trips from June onwards. For the trips in April and May we
would ask that you register your interest and when it is confirmed that this trip will be able
to operate we will contact you and request payment.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
As with the tours and day trips we were able to carry out last year, we will again be following
our full COVID-19 precautionary measures. For everyone’s safety and confidence, each
coach will be deep cleaned before each trip, frequently touch points such as handrails
will be cleaned at every stop, hand sanitiser will be readily available, and when boarding
and alighting mask wearing and temperature screening will be required. If you have any
questions please do not hesitate to contact the office.
COVID-19 caused major disruption during 2020 to our tour and day excursion programme,
for this we would like to apologise and thank everyone for their patience while we
processed refunds and contacted passengers about changes and cancellations.
If you have any queries or questions with regard to any aspect of a holiday or day trip

THE ISLES OF SCILLY - EXTRA DAY THIS YEAR

Just 28 miles off the southwest tip of Britain
lies the small, beautiful archipelago of the
Isles of Scilly. A charismatic destination
with unique charm and warmth there is mile
after mile of white sandy beaches, acres of
natural landscape to explore, and a rich and
fascinating history. The skies seem bigger
here, the horizons further away, and the
landscape broader. It all feels quite intimate
and old fashioned, it is as if you’ve stumbled
upon an idyllic film set from a bygone era. Let
the concerns of everyday life drift away on
the falling tide. This is the stuff that holiday
