days after the reunion dates. The special room rate will be available until April 4, 2022 or
until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Your special room rate also includes
complimentary breakfast for a maximum of two per room.

at the Fort Meyers Airport, the hotel has an airport shuttle. After collecting your baggage, call

Wednesday – May 4, 2022
12:00n Arrival – Please check in with our Reunion Representative in the Lobby to receive your reunion
information package, followed by checking in at the hotel front desk. The Association officers await your
arrival in the Hospitality Room, Pelican AB. Come in and relax in the comfort and privacy of our
hospitality room where you will nd coffee and so drinks. Snacks will be available for everyone’s
munching pleasure. It’s the perfect place to greet old friends, especially those that you haven’t seen in
years, to meet shipmates you didn’t know, to meet people who served at a different time but share the
ship’s heritage.
Private alcoholic beverages are allowed in the hospitality room.
6:30 PM: Welcome recep on begins.(Oasis Restaurant/Pa o) This is the first planned activity of the
reunion. USS Holland AS-32 Association President, Dave Elrod, will have a few welcoming remarks and
preview of the reunion activities in the hospitality room.
7:00 PM: A Meet and Greet: A well planned event for your enjoyment and the socializing can begin.
This will be a fun evening in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Dress for the reception is casual.
Once again we will be having a silent auc on, $25-30 price range. Items will be displayed
and bids taken un l the banquet on Saturday. Please bring something to donate.

Edison & Ford Winter Estates

Board the motor coach for our journey to the Edison and Ford Estates. (Maximum of 50
people)
• 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Group Historian Guided Tour of the Estate. We will be divided into two groups.
12:00 PM
Depart for Downtown Fort Myers.
Enjoy Downtown Fort Myers
Lunch is on your own. (Sugges on: The Ford’s Garage Restaurant.)
Package Price: $60.00 per person, inclusive.
4:00 PM
Board the motor coach for return trip to the motel.
Dinner is on your own.

Saturday – May 7, 2022
6:30-11:00 AM: Breakfast - A free full breakfast awaits you in The Oasis Restaurant.
10:00 – 12:00 PM
The Association Business Meeting will be held in hospitality room, Pelican AB. Afterward we will conduct
our general business meeting concerning the Association. Then the Association Officers will entertain
locations for the next reunion site.
5:00 PM: Pre-dinner Cocktail hour and photo session. Be sure to have your photo taken for inclusion in
the 2022 Reunion.
6:00 PM: The USS Holland AS-32 Banquet in the Royal Palm Ballroom AB or Osprey AB. Enjoy your last
night in a more formal atmosphere. Coat and tie recommended for the gentlemen and corresponding
dress for the ladies. If you can still wear a complete and correct uniform, please do. Retirees are
especially encouraged to do so.

2022 USS Holland AS-32 Memorial Service 8:30 AM
Following breakfast we will conduct our Memorial Service. The Invocation and Memorial
service will be given by our Association Chaplain Tom Booth. The memorial service will
honor those who have served on the USS Holland and that have gone to the eternal life.
On the conclusion of the Memorial service we will say our farewell to one another, hugs,
and tears are authorized. We are moved beyond the handshaking stage.
