INVITATION
On behalf of the National Ski Association and the Organizing Committee of the Telemark World Cup in Bad
Hindelang/Oberjoch, Germany we would like to invite all Telemark athletes, trainers and officials to the FIS Telemark World
Cup at the Grenzwies lift in the Allgäu.
Do you like traveling earlier to Bad Hindelang? No problem! You are welcome also some days before the World Cup – and we
will organize accommodation and a training area for all Telemark World Cup racers. Please ask Mrs. Martina Hindelang from
the Tourist Office in Oberjoch for more details (contact details below).
We are looking forward to sharing this event with you! Below you can find all basic details about the place, important dates, the
schedule, your arrival, and so on.

THE REGION - Welcome to Bad Hindelang/Oberjoch!
Situated in the Bavarian Alps – to be more precise, in the beautiful Allgäu – you will find a true winter paradise. The area is
located at an altitude between 850 and 1210 meters, with the peaks of the Alps rising up to 2,600 meters. The holiday paradise
Bad Hindelang/Oberjoch has six districts: Bad Hindelang, Bad Oberdorf, Oberjoch, Unterjoch, Hinterstein and
Vorderhindelang. Together they offer a world of unspoiled natural beauty, health, alpine views, sporting adventures and family
holiday fun – in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Situated in the south of Germany, Bad Hindelang is also not far from the
famous cultural attractions in the Alps. Munich, the castle Neuschwanstein, the lake Constance, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen,
everything can be reached within a day trip.

ARRIVAL
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS: RAIL CONNECTIONS: PRIVATE TRANSPORT/BY ROAD:
Munich International Airport (MUC), Direct connections to the train station Coming from north: Via the A 7/E 532
approximately 160 km east of Sonthofen. The railway infrastructure is until the exit 137 (Oy-Mittelberg,
Oberjoch. Innsbruck Airport (INN), 125 well developed in Germany, hence Hindelang-Oberjoch) and from there
km south – east, Memmingen Airport Sonthofen is easily accessible from all via the B 310 to Bad
(FMM), 75 km north. major train stations. From Sonthofen to Hindelang/Oberjoch.
Bad Hindelang there is a bus, it runs
every half hour.

You will find us at the team captains meeting. TEAM CAPTAINS MEETING The first team captains meeting will be held on on Wednesday, 20.01.2021 at 18.30 in the Tourist Office in Oberjoch at parking P1. BIBS Start numbers for all will be drawn and distributed at the team captains meeting. They must be returned immediately after each race. RULES & INSURANCE This event will be conducted according to the rules of the FIS. Every participant is responsible for her/his insurance. The Telemark World Cup Organizing Committee cannot be held liable in any form. OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARDS All changes of the program will be posted on the main board at the Race Office. Participants, trainers and officials are responsible for informing themselves. Please also check our website http://www.telemarkweltcup.de for news and details on upcoming events. The prerequisite for this is a negative test according to the requirements of the RKI, which is not older than 48 hours upon entry (§2, paragraph 3, sentence 2). In addition, the registration for the digital entry must be completed at: https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/ when registering. Unfortunately in this system it cannot be stated that you belong to a group of people who have been released from the quarantine. Therefore, you may receive an automatically generated e-mail from the health department, in which the quarantine obligation is indicated. This is not valid for invited persons for the Telemark World Cup. If there are any changes to the regulations, we will inform you via WhatsApp (WC 2021 COMMS).
