A Day Out - Shri Ram Centennial School
A Day Out
On 27th March a small picnic was organized for the boarders. The
venue decided was the Carbery Acres at Ponta Sahib. Keeping in
mind the SOP’s issued, the farm was booked only and especially
for our students. Prior to our visit it was ensured, that the entire
farm is well sanitized and the food served is proper and hygienic.
The students were informed about all the essential protocols to be
followed while leaving campus. The Housemaster along with the
Ast. Housemaster, PTI and few resident tutors, accompanied the
students for the fun-loving trip in the school bus. Soon after
reaching the destination our students were welcomed by Mr.
Patrick the manager and his wife. They then divided the students

into three teams, which were escorted by their teachers. The students enjoyed the splash pool to beat
the scorching heat of the sun, followed by some adventurous activities and a walk, of a kilometer and
a half to the nearby river. After such fun filled
activities, the students were served with
sumptuous lunch and dessert which they all
enjoyed thoroughly. Later in the evening we
started back for the school and children sang
various songs. It was indeed a day which filled
every heart with joy and enthusiasm.

We all are grateful to our Director Sir, Principal Sir,
Headmistress maám, Housemaster, Housemistress
and all the resident staff members for making the
trip special and a success. Looking forward for
many such picnics in future!

At SRCS boarding the academics, sports, health and well-being as well as spiritual connection is taken care of.
The students are guided and monitored over preps, encouraged and involved into seasonal sports for building
and maintaining fitness. They are supervised and counselled to stay healthy and hygienic and are also
enlightened to follow the rituals inculcated in them, by their parents and family members. All these personality
traits are polished under the mentoring of their respective tutors, who are guided by our Principal Sir and
Headmistress ma’am.
