A roaring fire, a comfy armchair, sipping mulled wine, nibbling a
warm mince pie. Imagine that in the eccentric and eclectic surroundings
of The Bell in Ticehurst and picture your perfect Christmas.
From the beginning of December, we will be offering seasonal choices
as part of our delicious à la carte menu. Festive lunches and Christmas
dinners in our restaurant are a given but if you fancy a bit of a do with
friends or work colleagues, book a table at one of our Christmas bashes
in the Big Room. Not up for dancing the night away? Then a long and
convivial lunch in the Stable with a Table could be just the thing.
And what’s more important than family at Christmas? Bring the children
for Sunday Lunch with Santa or celebrate Christmas Day, Boxing Day
and New Year’s Eve with us. Rest assured, there will be a Bell twist or
two. Once you’re here, you won’t want to go home and you don’t have to.
We have eleven rooms with sinfully comfortable beds but book early,
they are in great demand.
A Christmas
Bash In The
Big Room
The Big Room for Fancy Dos is a perfect setting for your annual Christmas
knees-up. Whether it's with good friends or esteemed work colleagues, The Bell
will provide excellent food and drink to get you into the Christmas spirit for
a boogie with your boss. No photocopiers in sight. We'll see you on the dance floor.
There will be party tunes, festive favourites and guilty pleasure aplenty.

Of course, a party can mean just two! The à la carte menu
will be available throughout December in the restaurant but a
special set two-course Christmas lunch with coffee and mince
pies will be £18 per head. Simply pick two courses from the
Christmas Party Menu. Advance booking
for more than 4 people is essential.

Sunday 13th December
A traditional Christmas Lunch for the whole family to enjoy with
balloon modelling, a magician and a visit from our very special
guest of honour, Santa himself.

Christmas Day at The Bell
Forget stuffing the turkey, peeling the spuds and the endless amount of washing up.
Spend Christmas in the warm, cosy and eclectic surroundings of The Bell.
Toast the big day with the locals in the heart of the community and see how
Christmas is done at The Bell. It might knock your stockings off.
We’ll be welcoming everyone from 11am to 2pm to raise a glass or two. Lunch
will be served from 12.30pm and the pub will be closed to non-diners from 2pm.
The menu is £75 for adults and £37.50 for children under 12.

rooms for the night from £150 for a standard room based on two
people sharing. A hearty breakfast is included.
If you're having the family to stay this Christmas from 26th to
30th December, our rooms are from £90 with breakfast thrown in.

Good Foot
If you fancy great company and a chance to dance the night
away with one of the UK’s most exciting and original swing bands,
The Swinging Little Big Band, you can. Classic swing numbers
as well as rock and pop with a ‘swing’ twist.
Tickets are £7.50, available in advance from the bar (diners dance free).
Accommodation Package
If you're staying the night with us - and let's face it, why wouldn't
you be? - you can check in from 2.30pm. The price includes dinner
on New Year’s Eve and breakfast on New Year’s Day. From £125 per
person based on two people sharing a standard double or twin room.

Restaurant
All restaurant reservations should be made by telephone at which time your contact telephone
number and email address will be taken. Table for 6 persons or more will require credit card
details for confirmation and a charge of £10 per person will be levied for non-arrival or when
the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking.
Special Events
Big Christmas Bash, Sunday Lunch with Santa, Christmas Day Lunch and New Year’s Eve dinner.
All bookings are subject to availability. All prices include VAT. Please complete the booking form
and send to Reservations, The Bell, High Street, Ticehurst, East Sussex TN5 7AS. Confirmation
of your booking will be sent to you once the deposit has been received. Please note that The Bell is
a non-smoking venue. Minimum numbers must be guaranteed at confirmation of booking. Final
numbers must be confirmed and paid in full two weeks prior to the event, together with any
pre-ordered wine. No refunds will be given after that date and any additional guests should be paid for
by credit card at the time of booking. Once a booking is confirmed, should you cancel the event we
will endeavour to re-sell the space with similar numbers of guests. You will be liable for any financial
difference. A deposit of £15.00 per guest (non-refundable) is required to confirm the booking. In the
event that some guests do cancel, their deposits are non-refundable despite other members of the party
still attending. Payment of your deposit confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
General terms and conditions
The minimum age for attending evening events at The Bell is 18 years. All monies paid are
non-refundable and non-transferable to other goods or services. Cheques should be made payable
to The Bell in Ticehurst. Accommodation booked by individuals should be guaranteed by a credit card
and is subject to a 100% cancellation fee if not cancelled by 2.30pm the day prior to the reservation.
Whilst every effort will be made for special seating arrangements, these cannot be guaranteed.
No alcohol or other beverages may be brought into The Bell for consumption. Details are correct at the
time of going to press but may be subject to alteration without prior notice. Silly string and all aerosol
sprays are not permitted at The Bell as they can cause damage to textiles, fabrics and furniture. Party
organisers are asked to inform everyone in their party of these terms and conditions. Additionally, any
guest whose behaviour gives the management concern in any way whatsoever will be asked to leave or
will be refused admission. Any damages will be charged for. Please note that The Bell in Ticehurst LLP
cannot guarantee that any products are free from nuts or derivatives and that fish products are free from
all bones. Any special dietary requirements should be notified to The Bell in writing prior to your event.
Force Majeure
The Bell shall incur no liability to the client if performance of this agreement is prevented or hindered
by any case whatsoever beyond the control of The Bell and in particular but without prejudice to the
generality of the foregoing by Act of God, war, riot, civil commotions, Government controls restrictions
or prohibitions or any other Government act or omissions whether local or national, fire, flood,
subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out of The Bell or suppliers and shall not be liable for
any loss or damage resulting therefrom suffered by the client.How To Book
