                                Introduction
 Everyone is behind earning money online. Is it true that one can really make
money online? If someone can make, how much money can they make? Can they
run their daily expenses? can students get their pocket money? What percent of
the statement earning money online is true?
In this book we will first understand how money is evolved and its importance.
Then we look at traditional money-making methods and then we will discover
some genuine online money-making methods in India.

                            Understanding Money
Let us first understand how money came into existence, In the ancient times, there
is no money. People used to exchange one product with the other. Suppose if you
have a bag of rice and the other person has a bag of wheat, you can exchange half
bag of wheat with half bag of rice. This is called barter system. Sounds good
right? When everything is fine then why money evolved?

Drawbacks with barter system:
If you are the owner of a gold mine, can you exchange a bag of gold with a bag
of rice? The answer is no. It is because rice is abundant. Gold is scare. When the
quantity is less it’s demand should be high. When the quantity is more it’s demand
should be low. Gold should have higher demand than rice. It’s not fair to
exchange a bag of rice with gold because if you exchange in this manner
someday, you’ll run out of your gold but people who produce rice will still have
lot of stock along with other commodities acquired by exchanging rice.
Then what’s the solution? you should decide a unit value for every product!! How
much rice can you exchange for a gram of gold? making such decision will bring
the justice. There are many products in the market how many mappings can we
make? There comes the concept of money. Money is the unit value of a product.
Money adds value to a product. Higher the cost of a product, Higher value the
product possesses. (lesser it’s availability).
Now, we have understood that money is the value measure of a product. To
possess money, you should have something which possess value and people
should be in need of it. Humans have come along a long way where the products
are extended to services. This means you can also exchange service and a product.
So, before understanding making money online, let us understand how money is
made in traditional ways.

                          Traditional ways of money:
Let us understand the scenario when no internet is discovered, how people lived.
Just let us analyze some things how people are making money.
Kindly, notice the acronym here: MM- moneymaking
MM1 – selling vegetables: you are exchanging vegetables; people need
vegetables to eat (product exchange)
MM2 – You are a teacher: You teach students, they give you money. (service
exchange)
MM3 – you work in a bank: you are paid by the bank (Service exchange)
MM4 – you are an LIC agent: company is paying for the policies you signup.
(service exchange)
MM5 – you sell tooth paste. (product exchange)
MM6 – you rent your home (product exchange, home is the product)

In all the scenarios, either you offer a product or a service. There is no other way
money is created. You should have something to exchange to get money because
we have seen money is the unit value of a product. Higher the value you possess
greater amount of money you can have. An IPS officer is paid more than a sub
inspector because he adds more value than a SI. Similarly, people are adding
value to themselves by offering bank services, offering teaching services, offering
sales services (LIC agent), or by directly possessing products like vegetables
which have some value. It is clear from chapter one and two that traditional way
is exactly following the concept of money a measure of unit value of a product.
Types of Income:
Active Income: We have seen that if you stop adding value, flow of money will
be stopped like for a teacher, bank employee, vegetable vendor etc. This is active
income, when you stop adding value, your income stops.

Residual/Passive income: If you own a home, you do nothing but people who are
staying in your home for rent they will pay you rent. What happened here? This
is a clear example, where you can add value to someone passively also. If you are
able to add value while you are sleeping, then you can also earn money while you
are sleeping.

It is clear from above things that you can only possess money by adding value to
someone. You can do it by actively, passively, whichever the way you want.
Here comes our major question, Earn money online …

By now we are convinced, to earn money we need to add value to ourselves which
we can exchange. To earn money online, we need to exchange our value online

Which myth I am talking about? The famous myth anyone can make money
online. Yes. Let us see further.
Now, we understood we have to possess some value to get money. Let us suppose,
you have nothing to exchange in a traditional way. How will you make money?
We do physical work, right? you offer your fitness for lifting, pumping, building,
carrying right? Here we are exchanging our time and health for money. If you
don’t even have health, you need to get convinced that there is no way and you
need to be dependent.
Let us see the statement, anyone can earn money online. how?? Recorrect the
statement with anyone who possess some value to exchange can earn money
online.
Earning money online is no where different from traditional way. you do the same
things just by using internet. When you have nothing to share in traditional way,
how can internet will add value to you?? Yes, internet provides some
opportunities to you where you can add value where the opportunities are not
available in traditional way. It does not mean that internet itself have added value
to you. You need to grab and start adding value with opportunities through
internet. Just having an internet does not add value to us.
I see there are many applications claiming earn money with this app, watch video,
comment, etc. what are these applications basically doing? I have discussed a
method of earning a traditional way to earn money when we don’t possess value
to exchange. i.e., exchanging our health. Similarly, when you are not adding any
value but planning to make money online, you need to exchange something like
health and here you invest your time. When you make money by watching videos,
you are spending a lot of time for few bucks. what value are you adding and to
whom you are adding so that you are getting paid? The scenario is simple, the
application which you are using monetizes its traffic. Who is the traffic? you are
the traffic. So basically, earning money online without possessing value is like
opting to exchanging your health in a traditional way. You spend a lot of time for
money end up having only a few bucks.

So, whenever there is a way to make money way understand what value they are
expecting you to add. In case, if you find no logic how you are able to add value

in a money-making process, then it is a fraud. It is the best way to recognize fake
money giving procedures online. Try to improve your value, instead of just
finding ways to earn. Instead, add value to yourself and find ways online to
exchange it for money. Yes, internet has many new opportunities, where new
talent is required, grab the talent and start exchanging it instead of just exchanging
your time. You need to identify, whether you are exchanging your time or you
are adding some unique value. If you are not adding reasonable value learn,

answer already that is yes. You can earn money online.
Let us see some ways:
The yes is not that simple as I said, it requires effort more over it depends on your
choice:

   •   whether you want make few extra bucks in a month
   •   whether you want to be self employed
   •   whether you want to build a pipeline for residual income (build a home)

whatever the thing may be the answer is yes and your efforts are directly
proportional to the amount of money you would like to make.

Making extra money apart from your job:

   • This is a trade for your time. You can download applications which offer
     money for watching ads, surfing internet, watching videos etc. It is better
     to involve this time in learning some skill where you can add value to
     yourself which you can exchange for money. These are called PTC sites

       Examples:
       ClixSense, cashcrate, Points prizes, grab points
       Recommended: No
   • Surveys: You can attempt surveys for various sites. This is not a consistent
     income. You are asked few questions where companies use them for
     market analysis and product requirement etc.

       Examples: Toluna, You gov, swag bucks, Inbox dollars
       Recommended: yes
   • Playing games: There are apps which ask you to battle with others,
     participate in tournament with some fee and will return great if you perform

   well. Personally, I feel it is like gambling, But If you are good at playing
   games and an expert you can definitely make serious amount of money.
   Examples: MPL, Ewar
   Recommended: Yes, only if you are a pro

• Fantasy cricket: I personally do not recommend fantasy cricket because it
  is completely based on your luck. It might happen even a better player in
  form fail sometimes. Ex: fan fountain, MPL, 11circle etc
   Recommended: A strong no
• Gigs and small tasks: These apps ask you to sign up for specific some sites,
  do little tasks like comment, like, share, watch video, post on Instagram
  etc.
  Examples: Gig India, picxele etc.

   Recommended: No (This takes of lot of time and pays less)

• Micro influencer: If you have a decent following on social media, can
  promote brands on behalf of other applications

   Examples:              Ainfluencer,              kofluence                etc

   Recommended: yes

• Referrals: You can refer some of your friends to use some apps. They
  generally have some limit and stop paying you after their fanbase is high
  or you have reached their limit. These are seasonal they cannot make a
  consistent income.

   Recommended: yes, if opportunity is there.

The above section covers where one possess very less or no skill (less value).
This section is about having some skill at anything, This area is about active
income. The amount of time you work decides your pay.
      There are many apps which make you work for paying:

   • Tele calling: squad run, futwork

   • Sales and marketing: (involve reselling) meesho, glow road.

   • Freelancing: There are many skills where people are ready to pay like data
     typing, excel sheet, graphic designing, web development, consultation
     about anything depends on your skill. You can bid and get a project
     (initially it is difficult)

   • Alternatives for freelancing: people per hour, Upwork, guru, toptal etc.

   • There are many sites which are skill specific like for transcription go
     transcript, for content writing linkable, strong whispers, for voice overs
     voices.com.
The mentioned sites are professional, once you are a pro at something, you can
clear the test of these sites and start making money.
To discover the sites which pay for your expertise follow these steps:
   • Type your expertise in google and the concerned sites which pay for the
     skill are shown.
   • Go through the reviews reading from various other reviews like mouth
     shut, Quora since some may be fake.
   • Choose your site signup and start working.

     own products
   • Affiliate marketing: You can start promoting other products where you
     receive commission for every sale.
   • Content marketing: Blogging and content marketing go hand in hand. You
     build product around your content. The subscribers of your content tend to
     your products
   • Digital marketing: onboarding offline business to online helps the
     businesses to get more leads and develop. You being a digital marketer can
     easily achieve this. If you have some business, you can expand it by digital
     marketing.
   • Domain seller: you can buy domains for a cheap rate and sell for original
     rate
   • Establishing a hosting service company: Due to technology many people
     are having their own space on internet. Hosting companies have a great
     future. The task of establishing it is cumbersome but can have a bright
     future.
