BUT, the impact this single day for spreading love and kindness will be
remembered forever. Last year, we could not deliver AIKD letters to due to
the COVID-19 outbreak. We channeled this little disappointment into making
sure our AIKD 2021 was a big event– and that is exactly what happened!
Camp Fire Gulf Wind, Inc. was able to distribute encouraging letters written
by those in the community to 10 schools within Escambia and Santa Rosa
Counties. With the help of Central Credit Union of Florida, we also made way
into Bay County’s Boys and Girls Club.

We wanted to spotlight Century Youth Learning Center after they achieved an OUTSTANDING SCORE on their School Readiness
Program evaluation from the Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County. Under rule 6M-9.115, F.A.C, centers serving children
from birth to kindergarten entry must be analyzed on their performance to be issues a contract for 2021/2022. Not only did
Century Youth Learning Center meet the threshold, but exceeded it by a great deal! Earning a composite score of 5.77 when
just a 4.0 was required. WOW!!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Misty Lambeth and her hard-working team for their dedication to helping kids succeed!

We could not be PROUDER of you!!!!!
Century Youth Learning Center offers both Voluntary- Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) and After-School programs during the academic
year. Additionally, they serve youth with Wise & Wise Summer Camps from early June to late August.

AIKD Season is our FAVORITE season…

and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Camp Fire Gulf Wind, Inc. attended many
public appearances in hopes of making AIKD
the most extravagant it could be!

From tabling in the Cordova Mall on March
13th to attending Rotary Meetings, we did
everything to get the word out there!

Camp Fire met its goal of delivering 8,000
AIKD letters to low-performing schools in our
area. That’s the cherry on top!

Thank you so much to PACE Center for Girls of
EscaRosa for your assistance with sorting
 letters and packaging them!

There you have it! Our 5 “Absolutely Incredible Kids” of Northwest Florida award winners! This competition was open to all kids ages K-12
who are leading, helping our community, and excelling in school. This year’s competition was tough and the number of nominations we
received were overwhelming. However, that’s a good thing!!

Thanks to an esteemed judges panel, we were able to narrow it own to 5 top-notch young people in our area.

To learn more about these young people and why they were selected, please view our posts on our Facebook Page!

Central Credit Union of Florida’s various branches

We loved the opportunity to extend
our reach to Bay County and the
amazing kids they have at the Boys
and Girls Club in Panama City!

“The kids were thrilled that people
took time out of their day to
encourage them. It was wonderful to
see their eyes light up while reading
 the letters.”- Latina Reed, Unit
Director at the Boys and Girls Club of
 Bay County (Frank Brown Park)❤
