The project promoted by AICS and 9 partners born with the ambition to promote and
stimulate projects to promote social inclusion for migrants. In SPECIFIC we want to offer
innovative possibilities of education, training and employment for disadvantaged
community, a fighting discrimination and define a new agenda for integration of migrants.
The project aims to:
• promote participation in democratic life in Europe, active citizenship, intercultural
dialogue, solidarity and foster quality improvements in youth work;
• Increase the International Dimension of the activities in the youth sector and the role of
youth workers and the involved organizations.
The MAW's specific objectives are :
• Improving Theoretical Knowledge Of Operators and committed social worker in
inclusion projects and integration of migrants.
• share best practices adopted from the Organizations on the theme of inclusion and
integration of migrants.
• Improving the quality of services from partner organizations on the local and national
• Strengthen the partnership among the organizations involved also for future
international projects on the subject of inclusion.
• Promote Advocacy Actions
MIGRANTS ARE WELCOME includes a INTERNATIONAL MEETING (1/5 October
2018) to be held in Ciampino, Rome (Italy) where will be drafted the Guidance
Document for inclusion projects and will be started a web campaign against
racism Each partner will involve 4 young people (25/30 age), plus 1 expert on
youth policy and immigration.
The project will involve 18 participants with fewer opportunities (9 migrants and
9 with economic difficulties) for a total of 45 participants.From Ciampino Airport (Best Option)
From the airport take a bus to the train station of Ciampino. Bus
stop at Ciampino airport is located just outside the terminal
building. It's a direct journey and it takes about 5 minutes to reach
Ciampino railway station. 400 meters from the train station to the

From Fiumicino Airport
From Fiumicino Airport Take the Leonardo Express train (from
Fiumicino Airport Rome Termini). From Rome Termini take
another train to Ciampino City. From the train station 400 meters
to the Hotel VILLA GIULIA Via Dalmazia, 9.

You will be accommodated in double or triple single-sex rooms
with participants from different countries with en suite bathroom.
Towels/bed linen will be provided.Preparatory process
* Presentation of its own organization (The participants will have
some time to get ready during the meeting and before the
presentation. Can be used sheets, flipchart, colors and pens
furnished by the organization. It is not possible to use the
projector).
* Presentation results and details of virtuous projects realized in
the past (or still in progress) based on the inclusion of migrants.
* Preparing a brief reporting of the situation in its own country
about the topic - Preparing with the selected migrants a
presentation of its reality, history, ideas and solutions.
* Preparing a short reporting of its country through food, music,
dance or other characteristics to show exhibit doing the
intercultural evening.
* Think an idea to improve the social inclusion of the migrants.
During the meeting there will be a moment of comparison and
discussion in group.

Participants’ Profile
Each organization will involve 5 members ( 4 participants of age
between 25 - 30 plus the expert on migration without any age
restrictions):
• N. 1 Migrant (legal migrant, asylum seeker, refugee, citizen of
second generation)
• N. 1 Participants with Fewer Opportunities
• N. 2 young people involved and motivated in the implementation
of inclusion projects.
• N. 1 Expert/policymaker/leader with no age limits.TRAVEL EXPENSES According to the rules of the E+ and the location of your organizations indicated at application stage (PIC data), the calculated amount for your travel expenses per participant is: Italy 180 € Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom 275 € Turkey 360 € This is the maximum amount that you will receive per person (up to the amount evidenced by receipts, boarding passes, etc., economy/2nd class travel only, shortest and cheapest route). We will not collect any documents during the meeting. When the meeting is over, we will send an online form to upload all travel documents and bank details to make a refund. The refund will be paid on the current account of the sending association. The MAW’s specific objectives are: • Creating resilience and bringing the stigmatization to an end sensitizing the young people and by allowing them to learn how to safeguard their own mental health and to communicate with their peers - Overcome the fear and the intolerance. • Allowing youth to have direct contact with people from different backgrounds, which live in different realities, in order to enhance intercultural skills, to fight discrimination, to promote the empathy and solidarity and to bring to life the benefits of the diversity. • Encouraging the involvement of the young people inside the society, in particular for vulnerable groups. - Restore youth’s fate in European project. • Tackling cases of intolerance, xenophobia and racism. • Improving the theoretical knowledge of operators and social workers involved in project of inclusion and integration of migrants. • Creating a document with guidelines for the organizations to adopt for a socio- educational work of quality in case of implementation of social inclusion for the migrants projects. • Sharing best practices adopted by the organizations on the subject of inclusion and integrations of migrants. • Increasing the partnerships between the organisations involved to promote the implementation of future projects based on the inclusion topic.
