of events happening. Festival du Voyageur
activities happen on Friday, February 22 and the

Contest) that takes place on Thursday, March 7.
On Friday, February 22, we will celebrate Festival
du Voyageur Day at École Sir William Osler.
Students are asked to come dressed as voyageurs.
We will be having little activities throughout the
week. Teachers are currently planning activities for
the morning. Please keep your eyes out for a call
for volunteers once we have determined the
different centres/activities. In the afternoon, we are
having Jacques Chenier, who is a recognized
French Children’s Entertainer, perform for all the
students at 1:30 p.m. Please feel free to come enjoy
the concert with our school.
The weather is starting to warm up but continue to
refer to the school’s Cold Weather Guidelines.
Students are expected to take part in outdoor recess
when weather permits so please make sure your
child is appropriately dressed. There is indoor
recess when temperatures drop to -28°C (with the
