ADVANCED SINUS AUGMENTATION
SURGERY COURSE
COURSE ABSTRACT:
This course is aimed for participants who are already experienced in implantology and want to
level up their expertise in a different sinus augmenting procedures.
The course will emphasize on different sinus lifting (augmentation) techniques.
Indications and contra indications of each technique will be explained and demonstrated in details.
The primary goal is to assist each participant in achieving a higher level of clinical comfort with
practical tips for advanced surgical techniques as described below.
The following topics will be extensively reviewed:
Sinus anatomy, physiology, different variation of the sinus and pathologies.
Radiography of the sinus using CBCT, panoramic image for optimizing treatment planning
and performing.
The indications of usage of different bone substitutes used for sinus augmentation.
Various sinus augmentation will be demonstrated through didactic presentations, live
surgery and hands–on sessions and will focus on topics such as: Closed sinus lifting (Morse
technique), lateral approach and updated techniques will be reviewed.
Hands-on workshop on pig's head.
Live surgery demonstration.
This course will take place in the l’Institut Européen de Formation continue of Garancière, which
is located at the Faculty of Dental Surgery of Garancière, at Paris Diderot University in the heart
of the Latin Quarter.
A certificate from the University will be given at the end of the course.
Full attendance is required by the University.

In 2014, she joined the Institute of Radiology of Paris, a liberal firm
where she is currently responsible for head and neck imaging and co-
