                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Isabella is a driven business woman in

When she goes

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    celebrate her father’s sixtieth birthday, she feels
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    like a winner, the only one in her old school gang
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    who things have really gone well for. Isabella’s
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    selfconfidence falters when she realizes that

                                                                                          SYNOPSIS

                                                                                          JC, a young Filipino man is forced to take over the
                                                                                          family business set by his estranged tyrant father,
                                                                                          a lonesome motel in the remote wilderness,
                                                                                          providing shelter to illegal immigrants on behalf
                                                                                          of the Government. But as JC and the guests
                                                                                          soon discover, Motel Acacia is home to a dark
                                                                                          and ancient spirit, which devours men and
                                                                                          impregnates women. With food running out
                                                                                          and a violent blizzard preventing the guests to
                                                                                          leave, a desperate fight for survival begins. In an
                                                                                          attempt rid himself from his father’s shadow, JC
                                                                                          risks losing his own humanity.

                                                                                          Bradley Liew is a Malaysian-born, Philippines-

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Claire (13) is vacationing with her sister Zoe
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           and mother Sophie at a resort hotel in southern
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Spain. Sophie spends her days by the pool and
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           shows a minimum of interest in her daughters.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           In the beginning Claire clings to her older sister
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Zoe, who mercifully lets her tag along. But when
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Zoe meets a boy her own age, Claire is left

By the beach Claire befriends Amram,

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               SYNOPSIS

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Viorel, a quiet, upright tractor driver from a small
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               town in west Romania meets Mocanu, a high
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               profile politician campaigning for a seat in the
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               European Parliament. Mocanu’s car has broken
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               down nearby and Viorel and his wife welcome
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               the politician into their humble home. Under
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               investigation for corruption, Mocanu sees an
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               opportunity and decides to stay with this modest
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               family during the rest of the campaign, winning
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               people’s hearts by posing as a common man
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               next to his “old friend”, the honest, hard-working
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               farmer. In return, Viorel will get a new tractor.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Marian Crisan was born in 1976 in Salonta, West
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Romania. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Film and TV Directing at UNATC Bucharest in
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               1999. His short film MEGATRON won the Palme
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               d’Or for Best Short Film at the 2008 Cannes Film
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Festival. In 2010, his first feature film MORGEN
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               won the Special Jury Prize at the 63rd Edition
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               of the Locarno Film Festival, and was also the
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Romanian entry for the 84th Academy Awards.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               THE CAMPAIGN is his fourth feature, after

                                                                                                        SYNOPSIS

                                                                                                        THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE is a film adaptation
                                                                                                        of Henry James’ 19th century novella of the
                                                                                                        same name. Set in a remote English country
                                                                                                        mansion and stretching from the Jamesian era
                                                                                                        to a globalized present-day setting, the film uses
                                                                                                        dance to recount the epic and unconventional
                                                                                                        love story of John Marcher (Dane Jeremy Hurst)
                                                                                                        and May Bartram (Sarah Reynolds). During a
                                                                                                        chance encounter ten years after first meeting,
                                                                                                        May reminds John that he once revealed to her
                                                                                                        a deep and menacing conviction that his life
                                                                                                        would be defined by a life-changing experience
                                                                                                        – one that was waiting for him “like a Beast in
                                                                                                        the Jungle.” Intrigued by his continued belief in
                                                                                                        this foreboding secret, May decides to stay by
                                                                                                        John’s side and soon develops feelings of genuine

                                                                                   ALMA AND OSKAR explores the passionate and
                                                                                   tumultuous three-year relationship between the
                                                                                   Grand Dame of Viennese society Alma Mahler
                                                                                   (1879-1964) and the Austrian artist and enfant
                                                                                   terrible Oskar Kokoschka (1886-1980). In the
                                                                                   early 1900s, Kokoschka was an up-and-coming
                                                                                   painter, influenced by the work of Gustav Klimt
                                                                                   yet with his own distinctive expressionist style.
                                                                                   Considered one of the greatest expressionist
                                                                                   artists of the 20th century, Kokoschka created
                                                                                   his most famous work using Alma as a model, and
                                                                                   the years of their relationship marked the most
                                                                                   prodigious period in his life. A composer in her
                                                                                   own right, Alma Mahler was a vibrant figure on
                                                                                   Vienna’s art and music scene, and by the time
                                                                                   she started her fiery affair with Kokoschka, she
                                                                                   had already buried her first husband, composer
                                                                                   Gustav Mahler, and begun an on-again-off-again
                                                                                   relationship with architect Walter Gropius.
