Allegory Storyteller Packet 2018-2019

Welcome to ALLEGORY 2018-19!

We are so glad you decided to take a leap of faith with us as we
bring Allegory; Stories That Shape the Soul to life. As you prepare to
share your unique story, there are a few things you should expect.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

It’s going to be HARD. Really, really hard. You might want to change
your mind, not share so deeply or find yourself back in that difficult
place you worked so hard to get out of and get angry, sad or even a
little depressed.

THE ASK:

     1. BREATH…...INHALE….EXHALE…..
     2. Remember this is your past. Be mindful and in the present.
     3. Reach out to someone who is a safe person to chat with or
call Julie (253) 285-0273. That’s what she is here for!
     4. Go there anyways. It is the deeply difficult places you have
come through that have helped form your character and brought you
to be the person you are today. The lessons learned are more
valuable than gold. Your story matters and by revisiting those dark
places, you will be able to take a retrospective look and see just how
far you have come. YOU MADE IT! Now let’s work together to curate
your story, lesson and message into a beautifully crafted piece of
living art.

I am so proud of you and I am deeply honored and humbled by your
willingness to lay your soul bare for the prosperity and wellbeing of
others.
                          -Julie Smith, Producer

                                                                          1
