WHAT IS BRAVENX?
BravenX is a 15-week career development fellowship program
designed to allow participants (aka “Fellows”) to build meaningful
networks, discover their innate leadership, and cultivate the “soft”
skills and habits of mind needed to thrive in twenty-first century
workplaces. Fellows will engage with online content through the
Braven portal and participate in peer learning, interactive experiences,
and reflection during weekly virtual sessions we call Learning Labs.
This experience will require commitment. The workload will be
equivalent to a 3-credit college level course. Nothing good comes
easy, but this fellowship program will be equally rewarding as it is
challenging.

FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW
The fellowship consists of a 15-week course, including 2-3 hours of
independent prework and 2-hour weekly virtual team meetings in small
groups, facilitated by a volunteer professional called a Leadership Coach.
After the program, Braven will continue to support Fellows ongoing until
they graduate and obtain a strong first job. While Braven doesn't directly
match Fellows with jobs, Braven will connect Fellows with employers, pair
them with a mentor in their field, and give them exclusive access to
networking events and referrals.
BravenX is broken into three units - Design Your Career, Hustle to Career,
and the Capstone Challenge. Throughout each unit, Fellows will build their
professional skills and experiences, all with the goal of obtaining a career-
accelerating internship or job.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This experience will require commitment. The workload will be equivalent to a 3-credit
college level course. Nothing good comes easy, but this fellowship program will be
equally rewarding as it is challenging.
Meet virtually with your Cohort of 6-8 other students
from across the country and your Leadership Coach
2 hours Engage in peer-learning, interactive experiences, and
group reflection on the week's theme
each week Fellows are expected to be in attendance and active
participants of all Learning Labs, and must maintain
>70% attendance to be eligible for the stipend
Complete self-paced pre-work to prepare for weekly
Learning Labs
3 hours Complete two individual projects (including a career
each week plan and a professional portfolio) and one group
project
Fellows must maintain an average mastery score of
>70% to be eligible for the stipend
YOUR LEADERSHIP COACH
Leadership Coaches have
At BravenX, you are never in it alone! Each cohort will be
come from companies
matched with a volunteer mentor called a Leadership
Coach. Leadership coaches facilitate weekly learning
such as:
labs, adding their own expertise and experiences, and
are a professional support system for their Fellows.
