On behalf of the Organizing and Advisory Committee we take great pleasure in welcoming academic scientists,
researchers, students, scholars and experts of application fields to Durban, South Africa for the 1st edition of the
Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine conference to foster the progress in the field by contributing with your
expertise to what promises to be a very comprehensive and exciting meeting, and to enjoy the immense unique

International Conference & Expo on Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine, which will be held during February
25-26, 2019 at Durban, South Africa, is the premier interdisciplinary platform for the presentation of new advances
and research results in the fields of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. The event will have 5-6 world level

The aim of the Animal Science-2019 is to promote quality research and real-world impact in an atmosphere of true
international cooperation between scientists and engineers by bringing together again the world class researchers,
International Communities and Industrial heads to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the fields of
Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine.

About Venue
Durban is the busiest port in South Africa. It is a popular tourist destination due to its warm subtropical climate and
extensive beaches. The waters of the Indian Ocean are temperate and swimming is possible all year round.
Situated on the east coast of South Africa, the tourist attractions in Durban and surrounds are multitude and very
unique. The city is one of the most diverse in Africa with a cultural richness of mixed beliefs and traditions. Zulus form
the largest single ethnic group and Durban has the most Indians of any city outside of India, bringing with them a
variety of cuisine, culture and religion.
The conference venue is situated on the Golden Mile, a popular stretch of beachfront, including the promenade that
runs along with it, that runs from uShaka Marine World to the the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium, built for the Soccer
World Cup held in 2010. The city is also a gateway to national game parks and historic sites of the Zulu Kingdom,
the City Hall, the Botanical Gardens and the Drakensberg, a spectacular mountain range.
