Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It gives me immense pleasure to announce the curtain raiser for IOACON 2020 under my
Presidential tenure in Mumbai.
Mumbai is the "city of dreams and land of achievers".
The BOS / MOA is one of the most vibrant chapters of the IOA.
My central organising team and the local organising team are going to work our hearts out to
make this a memorable event. It will be a benchmark against which future IOACONS will be
compared.
As the President of this August Organisation, I have an extra responsibility to encourage and
support Dr. Ajit Shinde, Dr. S. S. Mohanty, Dr. Ram Chaddha and their team to weave together a
spectacular show.
As Past Organising Secretary of the hugely successful Diamond Jubilee IOACON - Jaipur and
organiser of IOACON - 2000 and 2010, I want to put this message across that this show is going
to be an Unprecedentedly Marvellous and Colossal Event.
Therefore, I urge you all to attend this extravaganza which will be attended by a galaxy of
speakers from India and abroad.
For a conference to be successful, the scientific program and extra-curricular attractions both are
paramount.
I am pretty sure that this port city, which is called maximum city will give you maximum of

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 65th Annual Conference of the Indian

Orthopaedic Association, which will be held in Mumbai from December 15 to 20 , 2020.
This mega event has attracted global leaders to participate and exchange expertise and to launch
brilliant new ideas together. The scientific programme will focus on Symposia and Instructional
lectures given by distinguished speakers from across the world.
IOACON 2020 will present to the young and budding Indian orthopaedic surgeons, an
opportunity to interact with experts from across the globe.
The scientific committee encourages all of you to submit abstracts of your work, so that we can
put together an exceptional scientific programme. On behalf of the Central Organising
Committee, I would like to extend a sincere invitation to you all, to join us at IOACON 2020. I am
sure that this scientific extravaganza, under the dynamic stewardship of Organizing Chairman
Dr. Ajit Shinde and Organizing Secretary Dr. Ram Chaddha will advance orthopaedic knowledge
and forge new friendships.

extravaganza with a wealth of knowledge in the form of workshops, lecture sessions, symposia
and presentations.
The venue city, Mumbai is known for its hospitality as well as academics. The conference venue is
a state-of-the-art facility and has magnificent structure with top-notch technology.

PAYMENT MODE
Payment should be made in favour of "IOACON 2020 MUMBAI" payable at Mumbai
CANCELLATION &
REFUND
Refund of cancelled registration will be made only against a written request by email or a post submitted before 15th
October, 2020.
From 16th October, 2020 onwards, no refund request will be entertained by the Secretariat.
25% of the Registration fee would be deducted as processing charges and rest will be refunded one month after
completion of the conference.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
Central Committee reserves the rights to change / alter / prepone / postpone the conference dates & the venue
without assigning any reason. In case of a date change, registered delegates would be refunded the entire amount if
they intimate the Secretariat within three weeks of the date change.
Children above 8 years will be considered as accompanying person & will be charged accordingly.IMPORTANT
