Success in Hospitality / April 2016
Every now and again we struggle for ideas when it comes to cooking tasty meals
for friends and family. We’ve lined up 3 easy to prepare pasta sauces that you can
whip up in no time, leaving you free to chat to your guests instead of breaking a
sweat in the kitchen.
Three Cheese Pasta Sauce
1 • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and add a small, chopped onion together with a clove of crushed garlic.
• Cook on a medium heat for 7-8 minutes and then add 80 grams of butter.
• Stir in 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese, half a cup of grated emmental or gruyere cheese and 1 cup grated
parmesan cheese.
• Stir over the heat until the cheese melts. (Add half a cup of chicken stock (or milk) if the mixture is too thick.)
• Season well with salt and pepper. Pour over cooked, drained pasta and serve with diced tomatoes and herbs
sprinkled over the top of this simple but tasty dish.
