              facilities. Since school sponsored activities preempt all Parks and Recreation Department
              programs, some cancellations will occur. All school buildings are closed to our programs during
              school vacations and all three-day holiday weekends. Cancellations of Parks and Recreation
              Department programs due to weather conditions are announced by the Parks and Recreation
              Department via E-Mail though CommunityPass or Telephone line 973-326-7370 option 4 for
              ball field conditions and program cancellations. The recording is generally updated each day at
              3:00 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM on Saturdays as necessary due to weather conditions.

  Following guidelines set out by the USTA, the US Sports Institute offers tennis classes for four tiers of ability to ensure all
  participants play and learn at the appropriate level. Using rackets, balls and courts appropriately sized for players based on
