Tournament Information

1/. Schedule, Format and Info:

The event takes place at

                                 Boavista Golf & Spa Resort
                                    Quinta da Boavista
                                   8601-901 Lagos Lagos
                                          Portugal

This is a 54 Hole individual stroke play event. 18 Holes per day, commencing on April 26th
2021. Official practice round April 25th 2021.

                                      Hygiene Protocol

The tournament host Espiche Golf may provide a Hygiene Protocol to each player, which is
mandatory to follow, otherwise Entry will not be granted at the tournament! The hygiene
protocol may be altered at any time due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation!

2/. Eligibility to play:

This event is co-sanctioned between the GJG Tour and 21golfleague and is open to amateur
golfers, both boys and girls. IMPORTANT; Entries are based on first come first serve
according to the eligibility criteria!

    a) In the age classes

- GJG Tour players age 12-18 (max. 18 at the start of the event)

- 21golfleague age 18-21 (max. 21 at the start of the event)

- U14 (age: 14 & younger; please note players will tee of from different tee boxes and will
not be listed in the WAGR Ranking according to Tour Rule #19.4, if less then 3 player
participate they will be automatically allocated in the age group GJG Tour) à has to become
a GJG Tour member

- All players need to become a GJG Tour member or 21golfleague member

    b) All players must be members of a registered golf club
    c) Handicap limit: Boys 5 / Girls 7 à U14 Boys 10 / Girls 14

d) If a player is not meeting the HCP limits or has no GJG eligibility status, please send
       an wildcard inquiry to service@globaljuniorgolf.com with latest tournaments results.
       The tournament committee has 10 wildcards available.

3/.Field Size

The field will be capped at 90 competitors. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to
change or limit the size of the field. Once the field has field up a waiting list start and players
will be listed in order “date & time of registration”. The waiting list will be visible on the
respective tournament website.

4/. Entry Closing Date and Procedures

4.1 Entries close on March 25th 2021;

All players must be or become a member of Global Junior Golf. International players may
request early confirmation of entry to help with international travel bookings.

A player is only accepted at the tournament once he either has paid the tournament
package or the Entry Fee in full!

4.2 Late entries may be accepted at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee; All
information required in the entry form must be provided accurately and in full

5/. Prizes

On conclusion of the 54 holes:

5.1 The winner of the Boys Competition will be awarded the Boys Boavista Junior Golf
Trophy Champion and prizes will be awarded to the players finishing from 1to 3place.

5.2 The winner of the Girls Competition will be awarded the Girls Boavista Junior Golf Trophy
Champion Trophy and prizes will be awarded to the players finishing from 1to 3place.

6/. Travelling

TRAVEL INFO: It is a players responsibility to check any governmental restrictions in his home
country or the country/state the player is planning on to play the tournament. GJG cannot give any
info on travel restrictions as these may differ from country to country. Please make sure to inform
yourself thoroughly, before you start traveling, that you are aware of any restrictions or guidelines
opposed by the government due to the threat by Covid 19.

7/. Registration

In the past a player had to be present in the tournament office or sent an email to confirm his
participation on the OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND DAY according to Tour Rule #18. This will be
currently not more availble due to the SAFETY/HYGIENE Protocol. There will be instead an
ONLINE REGISTRATION tool in your GJG players account

Please check 3DAYS before the tournament in your players account under YOUR

TOURNAMENTS. Here you will find the instructions to confirm participation. Please do not forget
this process otherwise you will NOT be listed in the tournament. An automatic confirmation
email will be sent to your account email, confirming once you have finished the process
accordingly.

8/. Practice Rounds

8.1 The official tournament practice round is 2th of April. To book an official practice round
time please contact directly the golf club: careways.reservations@boavistaresort.pt

8.2 All official practice times booked will be allocated on a first come first served basis. These
times are open only for players participating in the tournament.

9/. Package & Entry Fee Options

Disclaimer: Boavista Golf & Spa Resort is the direct booking contractor. Information by Global Junior Golf
e.V. regarding hotels or other accommodation that may be booked by you during a Tournament is given
for convenience purposes only. Global Junior Golf e.V. does not act as agent of or broker for the hotel or
other accommodation as well as airport shuttle and does not enter into any contractual relationship with
the player in this regard.

Important:

Every player has the option to choose between either a package or Entry Fee!

Before choosing a tournament package players need to register through the GJG system and
need to be accepted by the tournament director

10/. Rules of Golf and Close of Competition

The tournament will be held in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A
Rules Limited, the GJG Hard Card and the Local Rules approved by the Tournament
Committee. The Local Rules will be published and posted on the tournament notice board at
the venue.

The competition is deemed to be closed when the trophy has been presented. Play will not
be extended beyond 28th April 2021.
