1/. Schedule and Format:

Algarve - Portugal
This is a 54 Hole individual stroke play event. 18 Holes per day, commencing on November
29th 2020. Official practice round November 28th 2020.
2/. Eligibility to play:
This event is co-sanctioned between the GJG Tour and 21golfleague and is open to amateur
golfers, both boys and girls. IMPORTANT; Entries are based on first come first serve
according to the eligibility criteria!
a) In the age classes
- GJG Tour players age 12-18 (max. 18 at the start of the event)
- 21golfleague age 18-21 (max. 21 at the start of the event)
- All players need to become a GJG Tour member or 21golfleague member
b) All players must be members of a registered golf club
c) Handicap limit: Boys 5 / Girls 7
d) If a player is not meeting the HCP limits or has no GJG eligibility status, please send
an wildcard inquiry to service@globaljuniorgolf.com with latest tournaments results.
The tournament committee has 10 wildcards available.3/.Field Size The field will be capped at 90 competitors. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to change or limit the size of the field. If the field is limited or oversubscribed, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to apply the following guidelines in determining which entries shall be accepted: 3.1 Handicap; 3.2 International event finishes; 3.3 National event finishes; 3.4 International and National Ranking Systems; 3.5 Tournament Committee Invitations 4/. Entry Closing Date and Procedures 4.1 Entries close on October 28th 2020; All players must be or become a member of Global Junior Golf. International players may request early confirmation of entry to help with international travel bookings. A player is only accepted at the tournament once he either has paid the tournament package or the Entry Fee in full! 4.2 Late entries may be accepted at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee; All information required in the entry form must be provided accurately and in full 5/. Prizes On conclusion of the 54 holes: 5.1 The winner of the Boys Competition will be awarded the Boys Espiche Golf Juniors International Champion Trophy and prizes will be awarded to the players finishing from 1to 3place. 5.2 The winner of the Girls Competition will be awarded the Girls Espiche Golf Juniors International Champion Trophy and prizes will be awarded to the players finishing from 1to 3place. 5.3 It is compulsory for all players to attend prize giving.
6/. Registration Competitors must register at the designated Player Registration desk in the Reception of the Espiche Golf Clubhouse between the hours of 09.00 and 14.00 on 28th of November 2020. Failure to register within the prescribed time period could result in the player forfeiting his or her place in the tournament unless mitigating circumstances can be proven. 7/. Practice Rounds 7.1 The official tournament practice round is on the 28th of November. To book an official practice round time please contact directly the golf club: reception@espichegolf.pt 7.2 All official practice times booked will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 8/. Package & Entry Fee Options Package & Entry Fee Options Disclaimer: Boavista Golf & Spa Resort is the direct booking contractor. Information by Global Junior Golf e.V. regarding hotels or other accommodation that may be booked by you during a Tournament is given for convenience purposes only. Global Junior Golf e.V. does not act as agent of or broker for the hotel or other accommodation as well as airport shuttle and does not enter into any contractual relationship with the player in this regard. Important: Every player has the option to choose between either a package or Entry Fee! Before choosing a tournament package players need to register through the GJG system and need to be accepted by the tournament director Please note that 15 rooms at the Boavista Golf & Spa Resort are reserved at a special prices and will be given out on „First come, First served Basis! You can also inquire with Boavista Golf & Spa Resort in case you need different amount of nights to stay! GOLFERS OPTION 1 & NON GOLFERS OPTION 1 – From Single Occupancy up to 4 person sharing – 5 nights incl. breakfast à Apartment T2 Single Occupancy: € 350,00 / per person (73€ extra night for apartment) Apartment T2 with 2 pax sharing: € 195,00 / per person (81€ extra night for apartment) Apartment T2 with 3 pax sharing: € 163,00 / per person (101€ extra night for apartment) Apartment T2 with 4 pax sharing: € 133,25 / per person (109€ extra night for apartment) 5 nights accommodation in Appartment T2 Breakfast included in the Golf Clubhouse Entry Fee for the Espiche Juniors International is not included. The Entry Fee costs 180€ additionally and has to be paid directly once confirmation has been received to Espiche

Players have the chance to book directly at Boavista a shuttle which is provided during the tournament days and the official practice round of the Espiche Golf Juniors International: 28 November – 01 December. (10€ per day / way and person) It is absolutely important that a player books no later then on the 19th of November a shuttle transfer between the golf courses. After that date a shuttle transfer cannot be booked!!! Rules of Golf and Close of Competition The tournament will be held in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A Rules Limited, the GJG Hard Card and the Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee. The Local Rules will be published and posted on the tournament notice board at the venue. Play will not be extended beyond 01st December 2020.
